My first MacBook and am very satisfied with it and the grandkids love it as well. The Retina display is beautiful and shows great detail. I'm more a PC guy so I do have issues with the Iworks but I will come around I'm sure. Can't wait to start back with photography as my old Imac has definite problems now with Aperture since I upgraded to Maverick a few months ago.

Apple products exude quality and are designed to be intuitive to use for people like me who are not literate in computer technology. Price is a bit high.

This is the way to go. Apple is the best! Quick, fast, easy to set up.

I've been a longtime Apple fan (would barely know how to get around on a Windows PC!) and have numerous Macs and iPhones/iPads around the home and office. It's all we use. Being able to (mostly) sync everything and getting pretty good programs (iPhoto, iTunes, iMovie, etc.) bundled on the machine is nice. But to really get the computer to sing like you see in the brand's keynotes and commercials, they need a RAM upgrade beyond the minimum included level. I've used Crucial RAM with good success after a recommendation from an Apple Store employee and make that an immediate swap...which is super easy to do on your own.

This laptop is great for students. It's so fast and great size .

First Mac broke, so I purchased a new one. Absolutely in love.

I would buy no other computer than an Apple. We have two computers, two iPads, two iPhones, and a Time Capsule. Additionally we have had two other Apple computers. Love the OS as it is fairly intuitive and there is little worry about viruses and malware attacks. The new retina display is very nice, however, Apple disappointed us by not including a DVD on this 13" MacBook Pro. We weren't even aware they had done away with it until we received it as their ads said nothing about it being "not included" as they do with the MacBook Air. So we have to buy an external DVD which is costing another $80 and certainly is not as nice as having one internally. Other than that, we love it.

Great Buy, Machine has held up to a year of abuse from kids and is still working as expected. does everything we need it to.

We quite enjoy using the Macbook Pro. It is lightweight and easy to use. We use it daily for homework and lesson planning. Hands down this is the best laptop our family has ever owned.

I can't recommend the Macbook Pro enough. The retina display is amazingly sharp and clear and an obvious upgrade from the non retina versions picture wise. I love everything about this computer other than the price, but I was willing to pay it and it's worth every penny.

This is my 2nd MacBook Pro. I plan on giving my old one to my husband as he loved using it and decided to buy myself a new one.

My last MacBook Pro was stolen, and I tried a MacBook Air but it just wasn't the same. Finally, I broke down and coughed up the $1300 price tag attached to my Pro. It was definitely worth every penny. This display is amazing, and the features are great. This laptop is definitely a must have! Once a Pro owner always a Pro owner.
