Excellent choice for a student. I wish I would have bought a mac years ago

We bought this for my 7th grade daughter to use for school & personal use. Her old hand me down computer broke. She loves it. It's band new and very fast. I must admit her computer is much faster than mines. I'm very jealous. No complaints no far.

Although the price scares many people away, this laptop is so wonderful. I had to get a Mac for my major in college, so I didn't really have a choice. Previously I was using a Samsung laptop that was about 6 months old. My Mac consistently performs better and I'm definitely glad I bought it.

I take behind the scenes picts and love this mac for basic edits and immediate release of social media photos while on set. I pair this macbook with an iPad and an iMac to have the complete setup for my photography business!

I replaced a 10 year old powerbook so is pretty amazing speed when compared to it. Starts up so quick. But I also work all day on a HP elite book and it doesn't compare by far. Screen is so clear! Don't hesitate to buy it.

Im very impressed with this laptop. I had the Mac Air before and this retina display makes a huge difference. I would recommend this computer to anybody who has the money for a high end laptop. You definitely get what you pay for with this purchase. I couldn't be happier.

I am pleased with my Macbook Pro purchase and the retina display is magnificent I use it all the time and it loads my data very quick and start up time is 100 times better than any PC i have ever seen or used, if your in the market for a new laptop Apple is the way to go

As a previous and unsatisfied owner of 2 HP's and a DELL . This is the first computer I'm genuinely happy with. Extremely fast , reliable, Lightweight ! Apple makes setup a breeze & provides great customer service . I travel from work to school & everywhere in between .

Love it got it before Christmas and performance is amazing replaced a 2003 toshiba apple is way to go. Just watch some of apples tutorials and you will be on your way.

I was on the market looking for a goid quality computer i was not only looking in price but quality apple products are great products price might be a little high but the quality u get not only on feel but on screen its great very happy with my purchase.

Great Laptop. Stunning display and laptop build quality. Speakers quality is great. Would have loved to have 8GB ram for the price paid.. A new version of this Macbook Pro now has 8GB ram for the same price. I Missed it though. Overall Perfect Laptop!!

I bought this computer on black friday so i got a pretty good deal. The retina display is amazing. Im not planning on doing anything fancy with it that is why i went with the 4gb 128. With the money i saved i purchased the super pricey accidental protection.

This computer loads fast, very quiet and doesn't heat up. Bad thing, no DVD drive, you'll need to buy an external dvd-cd player.

I have had a Mac before. This new model is so much faster that it is hard to believe. I love the office tools (page, numbers, etc.). I think it is wonderful that they are compatible with Microsoft Word and Excel. I would recommend this laptop handsdown.

I would love to keep it but comparing to windows laptop, it's a bit too pricey
