This is a very good looking laptop. It has good performance and a very long battery life for the level of performance. It comes free with iLife so that is big perk.

Best 13 inch laptop. Great enough for almost all daily use. The official battery life is 9 hours. But I can always get more than 10 hours for only one charge. You can definitely leave the charger at home.

This is my first apple mac. When I start using it as it totally different from window, I am not use to it. Now I like it very much. It is super fast and responsive. And it is easy to carry. The only thing that I don't like is adapter which is big and heavy.

My apple computer is wonderful. It is fast and the battery lasts a long time.

I like how it look. i like to work on this. charge last for long time. Even kids can use them with easy set up.It is good for student, business professional, kids and all age. we can edit picture and make videos. quality is really good.

I've owned every Mac portable since they were invented. I work with video in the bush, and really have no other choice, as I cut with Final Cut. Over the years, Apple's build quality has steadily decreased (along with lifespan- I average about 18 months for a unit), while the price has increased. The Retina screen is nice, and the SSD is convenient. Not much else to say- if you need a portable MacBook Pro, it's this or the 15". I prefer the 13" for portability.

Laptop is great, love the retina display but the BestBuy Rep failed to mention that I am losing the CD/DVD player with the retina display option. I did ask him what the difference was between the regular 13.3" and same with retina, all he said - just the display. He either forgot to tell me about the CD/DVD player or simply did not know himself. I had to purchase the USB SuperDrive after I realized I couldn't play a DVD in my laptop. I still like the laptop and got a great prize for it on black Friday. Would definitely recommend it!

I got mine on Black Friday pricing for $1099 ($200 off). Good deal, but still expensive, Not BB fault. Screen is spectacular and the laptop runs so much better than the 2 windows laptops we currently use. THE TOUCHPAD - I LOVE IT!!!

This the first time I buy a mac and really like it. The main user is my daughter for collage and she enjoys that it's pretty easy to use must of the applications on it. It has a very sharp picture and soft on the eyes. I would be more then happy to tell my friends and family about the product when you are looking for a lap top. The customer rep was very good at has job. Explaining the advantages to the mac.

Laptop is great! Only thing is that it lacks more gigabytes in the hard drive so there's not a whole lot of space. If the 512 GB model were the same price it would be better. Another thing is I found that if you want to set it up in another language, you should set it in English first then you should set it to your preferred language when the laptop is set up bc if you choose your preferred language in the set up of the computer, it will freeze.

This model still allows you to upgrade the more RAM and larger Hard drive of even a SSD (Solid State Drive). All aluminum construction makes it much more heavy duty than any other brand name. Very reliable, it always works, when finished, just close the lid, it goes to sleep. When you open the lid, it's ready to use within about 3 seconds. Never had any problems, Apple products are made well... Wish the price was a bit lower but when I compared actual features like the metal construction, the WiFi is ultra maxed (802.11a/b/g/n) and fastest BluTooth out there (4.2+HS). Some models offer the 802.11("ac") speeds. Overall, it's been my experience that a MacBook Pro will last for at least 5 to 8 years, depending on how you take care of it, carrying it, store is, etc.

Great laptop. Great display as well. Purchased this for my wife so we can used it while attending collage. The price was a bit high for Ge laptop, other than that a great product.

If you are going to spend your time on Safari and web browse, then this computer will make you happy. It is quick and can multitask; however, if you are going to play lots of games, or demand it to multitask several applications, then you might want to consider upgrading. This computer is great for the majority as it is for me. You might need a external DVD player. I heavily recommend this due to the number of features and how refined the Mac is. Of course, the screen will blow you away.

first time user but it's very easy to operate..... Recommend to everyone this macbook who is looking for windows I was using HP laptops but this one is way much batter thn HP.... Thanks for suggest Macbook TJ.

Great sound quality, great picture quality and display, easy to set up, fast, convenient for anything from school to business to just killing time, totally worth the price. I couldn't be happier with it.

This laptop is so light and also the battery life is pretty long that I don't really need to bring my charger to outside. I really love it and I'd definitely recommend others to get mac book pro!
