This laptop is great at everything. Retina display is awesome and excellent battery life. It is the best in this price range. If you're a student, sign up for Best Buy student discounts and promos.

The retina display is very good. When we watch videos on it, we could make out the difference on normal PC and retina macbook. Light weight and all that you would expect from macbook is there in this one. Only drawback is value for money. It has only 4 gb RAM whereas for same price i could have got lenovo yoga 2 pro with 8gb and almost like retina display. Couldn't buy it because of best buy mess up.

Its the simple things like the backlit keyboard and the size and weight that sit it apart. Seems durable and the performance speaks for itself.

This is an excellent laptop for on the go people. The battery life is fantastic and the size is perfect.

All my life I was a Windows (PC) person, and it was time for me to buy a new laptop. I ended up going with the MacBook Pro. And I'm glad I did. It's extremely easy to setup and use right out of the box, and for the most part is very similar to a Windows laptop. I consider myself someone who uses the more advanced features of a laptop, and it did take me some time on how to figure out how to do things. Nothing a little Googling couldn't solve. Anyone on the fence between a Windows and a Mac laptop, take the leap and go with Mac!

never previously owned a laptop but knew i wanted a macbook pro! after getting used to some of the different controls i love this laptop. it is fast, easy, and the display is amazing

I bought this laptop for my daughter who is a senior in high school this fall. She absolutely loves it. It is lightweight and easily transportable. Very easy to use and understand.

I love the lighter weight as I'm a college student with heavy books to carry and back problems! The enhanced retina display is very helpful. My eyes don't get so tired and strained.

My first laptop. Am pleased I got the Mac Pro. I l have a iPad so this was a easy choice as I love it. Jackson E. my sales person was great. He took the time to help me understand what I was buying. I have sense been back and he was there to help me again. He was great and personable. This is why I got this Mac Pro. Sense I have enjoyed it very much. Everything from the lit up keypad and ease of the keyboard functions. Its quick and graphics great. And a nice looking laptop even before I got the cover for it, that shows the apple logo through the cover. And can hook it up to. i.e. ( HDMI ) TV. Very happy, Thanks..Mogly54

In love very thin about this laptop it's super fast light. You can also text people from the laptop without a cellphone number.

I bought this laptop after using a macbook pro 2011. This new macbook pro is much better due to the retina display and is much faster. I love may mac very productive.

I bought a macbook because I have never used one before. The display is nice and it is easy to use.

I had been a PC user since the early '90s; wanted to make the transition to an Apple and felt the Mac Pro Book would be a good way to go and I was right. I did have some initial problems with the "Sleep/Wake" function but that was corrected by the Apple Store techs. I like the portability of the laptop,it has a great screen, and long lasting battery.

Like all Apple products this is easy to navigate. Things are organized where it makes sense. It's a good size and reasonably light weight with still being durable.

This computer is blazing fast and I love the Retina display. Many say you can't " see" the difference in screen. I totally disagree. Retina display is perfect!

I bough it on a special and it was my first MacBook Pro, it was fast and reliable but it was not enough memory or space on it for me, and since you can't upgrade memory I just desided to get the newest 15" 2014, I'm not fully Mac yet so I still need windows install with virtual machine and with just 4 gb ram and 128 gb hd the Mac got slow.

I like my laptop the fact that I can carry it around in school and it's light weigh also it fast to search apps and do my school work much quicker. It's great
