Macs are almost always more expensive than other computers with comparable stats, but they are more reliable than most. It boots incredible fast and runs OS X, which an elegant but powerful operating system. Solid computer but I would recommend waiting for a sale to buy it.

I got this for its ability to do excel, word and power points, and put them direct on a flash drive for my college courses...combined with the ease of an Apple/Mac. Had some trouble getting Office 365 installed, but had good customer support.

We bought this computer for our 13 year old. It works perfectly. She is able to do school work and leisure activities with no problems.

No doubt Apple products are the best and the specifications of this laptop cater to all my needs. I did want to have a CD drive for downloads on and off and bought a CD drive separate as the model with the CD drive was not the latest in terms of technology. It works for me and am happy with the work around.

I love my new MacBook Pro. It is very quick and very user friendly. I wish I would have bought one with more memory. I like the feel of the keyboard and I enjoy the typing experience.

Love this for Lightroom and Photoshop. Mac graphics awesome and Retina is so colorful. I have 5 macs and would not ever go back to a PC!

The Mac Book Pro is my first Apple computer although I have an iPhone and iPad, I was hesitant about how hard it would be to adjust after using Microsoft. The transition has been smooth and easy. The Retina display is fantastic. Love that it syncs with all my Apple products. Very lightweight and sleek design. Very happy with my purchase.

It's a laptop and does everything I need it to do. The only reasons to buy the mac is the trackpad and build quality which are very important to me. Mac OS sometimes feels like a hinderance but its a very enjoyable experience. It lose a star because memory is so expensive. I usually wouldn't buy something with less than 256gb but I also won't fork out an extra 200$ for it. And for people who say macs are expensive, that may have been true in the past but less so these days. The prices are comparable to high end PC's such as the surface pro. I wouldn't get anything lower than a surface or xps for windows regardless. (but the storage memory for mac is way too much imo)

This is my second Mac book, I had the first since 2007 and it is still working. But I felt it was time for a new one and it is even better!
