Great computer easy to use right out of the box and it is very organized. This computer is very light and easy to carry around, the size is perfect also.

I went into Best Buy to get a cheap laptop to hold me over until I could afford a Mac. I had every intention of spending $600.00 maximum. The salesman was very nice and showed me the laptops in my price range. But....I saw financing advertised, so I tried that.and got approved! So, I splurged and got the computer I've wanted for years. I was going to get the older model, but my salesperson told me the benefits of the newer one, so I went for it. As a salesperson myself, I was VERY impressed with his knowledge and being able to tell me the difference between the two and answer the questions I had. I am IN LOVE with my purchase, and would recommend the Macbook to anyone. It is user friendly, quick, and beautiful. The battery life is excellent, and the screen is a great size without being too large and cumbersome to carry around.

Great laptop... We purchased this laptop for my son who is a freshman in college this year. He has been able to use it for gaming and it has been perfect to take to class. It is lightweight but still large enough to work comfortably on. He uses it to Skype as well as game and do his schoolwork. It's a very versatile computer. We looked at the level below as well as above and did A LOT of research and review reading...he's glad we made the decision to go with this one. This is our first Mac and it's been a great transition. We would highly recommend this product.

I have been using Macs since the Apple IIe, which is a long time if you are new to Macs so I am a bit bias. For years I have used an iMac in my office and a Macbook Pro for travel. I also had an old iMac setup to act as a media server for my house. I now run it all off my Macbook Pro. The SSD makes a huge difference in speed and the graphics card in this Macbook is plenty to power a 34" widescreen UHD monitor. This Macbook is light & small enough to carry on long trips and has plenty of horsepower to do the development & graphics works I need out of a laptop.

Bought this laptop for my daughter and it is working great. Speedy, compact, & great screen. Does not have a DVD drive, so you will need an external.

The laptop is fast, sleek and reliable. Has all the ports you need only problem is it can add a little weight to book bag compared to MacBook Air

I love my new Apple MacBook Pro I purchased at Best Buy. It was easy to set up and to start working on immediately. I had been fighting an upgrade to Windows 10 on my 7 year old PC and it was awful.... I got a virus and 10 messed up so many of my programs. I will never go back to a PC. The salesmen at Best Buy were extremely helpful and could answer all my questions. They asked a few questions as to what I use my computer for, and led me to the model I purchased. It has been perfect for my needs! Thanks Best Buy for a great shopping experience.

This is the first time i am using mac and i was not very comfortable when first thought of buying it because of my transition from Windows. But i thought why not give it a try and now after using mac i am just loving the speed and battery life of this product. It is also light weight and virus free. Great laptop to buy.

The MacBook Pro with Retina display is great. The picture is so clear and the sound is great. It's fast and so far has been easy to use. I love it!

Awesome macbook. Bought it because I had another pro. The older version and loved it so much I wanted a new one. Now I use one for school and one for work. Love the new macs. Good battery life. Super light and the graphics and speed is phenomenal

I've used both Mac & Windows based sys at work for years. I strongly prefer Macs for their esthetics and intuitive and elegant functionality. They are also rock stable, haven't crashed once, and the image quality is consistently great with superb off-axis image performance. My 1st Mac was an iMac in 2009 and I recently bought a 13" MacBook Pro w/Retina display for our road trips. My wife has had an 11" MacBook Air for 1 year. We love all three units. The flash drive all but eliminates heat issues and the battery life is fantastic. The MacBook Pro gives me the various ports for all the connectivity I might need. I'm not happy about Apple's decision to end free iTune streaming since the sound quality is stunning. I thought it would be difficult to adjust to the 13" screen after 7 yrs of 24" luxury. But for our long road trips the small screen made sense. To cope, I reduced the size of desktop folders, keep the print small enough, & minimize desktop clutter. I considered the 15" version for its screen size and superior sound quality with two well placed speakers on both sides of the keyboard. The following drawbacks however forced me to resort to the 13" - 1)small size is better for travel 2)top-mounted speakers on 15" are more susceptible to liquid spills 3)major cost difference. I would highly recommend Moshi Clearguard keyboard cover for protection. It fits perfectly, is the thinnest, most transparent, and smoothest, non-sticky (unlike silicone variants) product which doesn't impede key strokes and doesn't jeopardize the Retina display. I'll probably buy a mousepad cover as well.

It was my first MAC and I can't find anything negative about it yet. I'd definitely recommend this small, light but powerful laptop to everyone

This is my second macbook to own and decided to purchase again because Im already used to operating IOS. I absolutely love the retina displayed screen, clear crisp picture. Even better is the weight; its very light. Its running smoothly and I have no complaints. Best Buy definitely tops the deal with offering student discounts as well as price matching if found somewhere cheaper. I was lucky enough to take advantage of both :-D

This computer is super fast and sleek. The force touch trackpad is very interesting to use, and it's nice to not have a moving part in it. The screen is very crisp and this computer leaves nothing left to be wanted! If you are looking for a new Mac laptop then this is it!

After an extensive search for the best price on this item Best Buy won my business hands down. This is a slick computer. It has a great display, is compact, and contains more than an adequate processor. I included the Pioneer BDR-XD05S Blu-Ray Burner as a companion item to install legacy software and to archive my photographs. Upon booting this machine for the first time I installed OS X El Capitan - made my day!

I wake up in the morning and look over and see this slim fine piece of work. After staring at it for a few minutes i open it up to see the amazing clarity looking back at me. The eye retina gleams unlike my foggy eyes. we read the news together, check email and sometimes we watch movies together. We are now un-sepratable. Some days we go for rides in the truck. We go everywhere, and did i mention how light weight it is unbelievable, When I type things wrong it just fixes it. You won't go wrong with this product.

Upgraded from 2008 macbook aluminum. Used for beginner level java programming without any problems. Nice design with great battery life. The butterfly keys are different, but fine. Sometimes the force-touch trackpad bothers me, but I'll get used to it. It is light enough to lug around all day. The 128 GB model is perfect for my purposes as a secondary computer and it costs substantially less than the 256GB model with identical specifications. I have a 128 GB lexar jet drive in case I do need more storage later.

I was always against the Apple brand until i got an iphone and saw how smooth, simple and easy it was to use. Since then i have seen the difference in quality and performance in most of their devices. This is my first macbook computer. Took a few days to get used to it coming from an IT background in windows, but this definitely outperforms Windows in usability and performance. Mac OS makes things extremely convenient in combination with other Apple devices but their design of this Macbook alone is worth the extra.

I was tired of using all other laptop brands over the years because of performance and reliability issues. Having a difficulty setting them up and get going. The apple mcbook pro is far better than its competitors based on the performance, reliability and functionality. It is all ages, my 11 years old daughter set the mcbook pro up running easily. I would recommend everyone. Yes, that could be pricey, but it is worth it for every additional penny you spent on. It is a great product, I love it !
