I tried a windows based laptop to save money, returned it, and bought my MacBook Pro. No comparison. Easy to use, functions seamlessly with my iPad and IMac, and let's me get my work done easily and efficiently. I get happy every time I log in. It charges quickly and a charge lasts me all day. You won't be disappointed. And I put a hot pink Speck case on it...adorable!!!

What can I say? If you like Apple products, then this one is the one for you! Fast Compact sweet retina screen

I have never used a mac before this one and I would really say it is worth the cost. Never felt like it my first time use of mac, even after using Windows for so long. Moreover, Mac also provides the same convenience of our traditional use of Windows shortcut. It has definitely made life much easier for me as I already has an iPhone and iPad. I can do pretty much everything when I am using mac, don't have to use my phone or iPad. Great packaged product.

it's still the best you can get. I don't think it is expensive considering an all aluminum ultra portable from dell or HP cost the same if not more (when not deeply discounted) still, I am amazed to see how they can't beat macbook pro in performance or the screen quality (I can't believe how ultra portable pc options can't properly adjust screen resolution at this price range, or use slower SSD or hybrid options). It is very fast, great multitasking device

great laptop - light - great battery life - retina display is excellent

The computer is incredibly fast and it is very sleek in design. I picked this model because it's small and vompact but yet very well versed in all functions. I love it i have no issues but one... the numbers programs is not all that great in regards to my needs.

I'm not an Apple snob, that being said I hate using anything but Macs. They are so user friendly and have all the capabilities a college student needs. The MacBook Pro is worth every penny. They run smooth, aren't prone to viruses, have pages, numbers, and keynote (which is word, excel, and powerpoint), and if handled wisely WILL last you 4+ years. The only reason I had to upgrade from my 2010 MacBook was because I basically threw it down some stairs.

This Apple Mac Book Pro is everything I have come to expect from Apple. It is light but sturdy. Very fast. Easy to navigate. My first Mac Book lasted many years but is simply outdated so I had to replace it. This one is well worth the money and I would not even consider getting any other type of laptop.

I had only limited experience with Macs prior to this purchase, but decided to take the plunge and make the switch from Windows anyway. Quite frankly, I don't know why I waited so long - the Mac OS is quite easy to use and navigate, and the computer itself is fast, excellent at holding a battery charge, and was painless to set up. Sure, the price is a little higher than a comparable Windows laptop, but it sure it looks like it will be worth it!

I really love my MacBook Pro w/ Retina.. it is so fast and easy to use! I too was intimidated by Macs but let me tell you, it is worth taking the leap of faith and learning how to use these vs. HP, Dell, Sony and others. This laptop really learns you and is great for users who purchase other Apple products like iPhones, iPods, iPads, Apple TV and so forth!

My wife bought me this laptop last year. The laptop's graphics and processing power made it so easy to edit and play videos. I love the retina display it is easy on the eyes. (I set brightness setting at 50% most of the time). Having previous MacBooks in the past, this laptop to me has a better ergonomics than the previous models. The battery life last longer than I expected even when I'm multitasking. It is great tool for professionals.

So far I am loving my MacBook! The speed at which it operates is phenomenal. I have been using it a lot to do my photography editing and it is a completely different experience compared to other computers. I will never go back to another brand!

I love this computer, I love how snappy it is and I used to be a person that hated apple products. The comparison to any other PC is insane as to how much better this laptop is. The literal only downside to this laptop is that there's no CD drive but being someone who always buys digital now it's not that big of a deal. Also if you have an iPhone I highly recommend this laptop because of the seemless integration between apple products.
