This is a great computer for a first time apple user! The 13 inch screen is the ideal screen size. Plus, with this computer, it is not too expensive, and it has plenty of memory. If you are afraid you will need more, you can buy an additional external hard drive.

I've had numerous PCs both desktop and laptop variety for the past couple of decades but in the past I've always been hesitant to pay the Apple premium. Finally broke down and bought a Macbook and I'm realizing what I've been missing out on all of these years.

This was a gift from my wife. She knew I wanted a new mac since my last one is over 8 years old. So far I love it! It's super fast and the display is great!

This is the best one in line. Better than the new MacBook. But the only thing is about storage of 128gb. Rest everything works well.

Laptop is light and easy to use. Great battery life.

Finally switched to MacBook after using PCs for 20 years. Also own Ipod, IPad and IPhone that are great products so I knew MacBook would be also. Transition from PCs easier than I expected. Another great Apple product, though expensive, but definitely worth it!

Ive been using windows laptops but switched due to computers being slow. Switched to this macbook and it is totally fast and plus an awesome retina display

I am a student and this is the laptop I decided on. I grew tired with pc since it tends to get slow overtime and also microsoft app store doesn't have a lot of choices. This is my first macbook and I'm loving it. It is not too difficult to learn how to navigate although the transition from pc to mac is still a little bit of a challenge. I chose the lowest memory since I figured I can just buy an external harddrive. Hopefully, mac does not get slow overtime.

This is a good machine for a light user. I would recommend getting more memory if you are using the computer for work or school.

I bought this as a replacement for an old MacBook. Love how lightweight and portable it is! Great for school or work, all kinds of creative work.

This computer is great for editing on software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro. Keep in mind this Mac does not have a CD port.

Definitely a good laptop. Bummed by "no" SuperDrive. Need bigger flash storage. Love speed.

The new force touch trackpad is a great feature. I am a first time apple product user and although it's taking me some time to learn all the iOS features, it's mostly because it's hard to unlearn windows. I find iOS is very intuitive. It's been a great buy.

This is by far the best laptop I've owned. Hasn't froze, it's fast, and best of all it's simple and easy to use. It's also a great investment for college.

I switched to apple back in 2007 and bought my first MacBook. After almost 8 years it was finally time to upgrade. Once again apple is spot on. If your looking for a user friendly laptop that can handle just about anything you throw it's way go with an apple.

I was a bit worried about purchasing a Macbook because I am used to HP and they are set up differently. I am extremely pleased with my Macbook and it is a lot easier to get used to than I thought.

Love the computer just had to return it for lack of hard drive space. Purchased the 15 in i7 model. Should have done that first
