I just wanted a nice Mac laptop to do some recording and mixing on. This thing is great! HDD space is low but I bought an external which is expected when making music. Plays games pretty well too! Overall great all purpose computer.

This is our 2nd Macbook Pro in our house as the 3rd one is a Macbook Air. We love Macbook products and would recommend to anyone!

This is exactly what we were looking for and was on sale for about the same as the air so it was a no brainier to get the better model with more memory. So far we are really happy with it and hope to have it for quite some time.

I initially had some concerns about switching from Windows to OS X, but I must say that I have zero regrets so far. This is by far the best laptop I have purchased. I absolutely love the force touch trackpad among other features.

Even though it's only a 5th gen half way into it's life span plenty fast for all of the regular tasks. Feels long in the tooth when compared to the new machines that come equipped with Type C connector that enable Thunderbolt 3. Otherwise probably a better buy than the air due to the screen alone.

I am a music major and I'm getting a lot of use from the laptop especially since my major at the end of my school carrier will require me to have a mac book pro its good to get it now. It has excellent audio clarity for recording.

I love this macbook. I am a return customer to the macbook because I still own and operate one that I bought nearly 8 years ago. It works almost like new even this many years later. I will always recommend the macbook to friends.

This computer exceeded my expectations. I've had it for one month and absolutely LOVE IT! I've been a DOS/Windows PC user since the beginning of personal computers and I made the adjustment very quickly. This is a quality machine.

This macbook is a good size and the retina screen is great. Battery life is decent too. Hard drive space may be the only challenge.

If you're in the creative industry and use editing software there's no computer that beats the MacBook Pro. Quick startup time, battery lasts 8 hours in 1 charge and the retina display is perfect. I'll never use another computer!

This MacBook Pro was purchased as an open box item. That considerable discount provided exceptional value for a powerful tool with excellent quality. It has allowed me to upgrade my home recording studio where I had been using an old iMac. A huge jump in technical speed and features has made it possible to use the latest recording software and hardware. The MacBook Pro is also my own personal computer, which I did not have before, which is a wonderful feeling for all the other things I like to do.

This laptop is great. It has a lot of options and is really fast. This laptop is great for school work or just plain old work.
