from Microsoft PC to Mac. What a difference. This baby processing is quick and smooth. I'm glad I switched. I was already using other Apple products, it made sense to complete the transition by joining the Apple family of products.

If you're debating to pay the extra dollars for the retina display, just pay those extra dollars. Especially if you're a student get your student discount and you'll get it for the same price as the other one without a discount. I paid the extra dollars and so far so good. I'm loving the retina display especially when I am editing pictures, watching videos, movies and I'm able to see so clear makes me happy.

I'm very happy with my purchase! It's the perfect size not too big not too small it's lightweight and the picture is super clear!

You just can't beat a Mac it's the best laptop on the market no one else even comes close every household should have one

Got this for my son for college & he loves it. I've used it a few times & it's awesome. Easy to use, light weight & runs great!

Bought this macbook for my daughter for college. Excellent value for the money. Apple notebooks have always treated me well and my daughter was thrilled! Also like the Speck case we bought with it to protect from scratches, etc.

This is my first MAC, I bought it because I'm in school for graphic design. So far I love it so much! No problems what so ever.

The computer is pretty simple to adapt to if you were normally on a PC.

Would have preferred the 256 gb and more RAM but had to settle for the 128 gb. Bought a 200 gb microSD card to triple space.

I am in the end phases of my Bachelor's and wanted to purchase a good laptop to get me through my graduate program. I was a little concerned about the small size of the screen, but the resolution is incredible and I have had no problems, whatsoever seeing the course material. I have always gone HP for my laptops, but because I love my iPhone, I thought I would give a Macbook a try. It is a little different to get used to, but once I did, I would never go back to HP. Far exceeded my expectations

Alright Apple, I understand that dropping the optical drive from the MacBook Pro does make it lighter, smaller and perhaps cuter. But it would be very nice of you to plop in a 30 dollar DVD or $50 Blue-ray drive into the $1000+ box. I am happy with the machine, but I just cannot give it 4 stars.

I have been using my MacBook for two months and I love it. It is quick and runs smoothly for all my college student needs.

This is the first time I am using a Mac product. Have always worked with Windows. So it is challenging to say the least. However as I learn via exploring, getting help from others, I just love all of the things that I can do

We did not have to read the reviews online before purchasing, my son also has one he bought for college and they both love their computers. Never have any trouble with them.

I can't be more satisfied with this new Macbook Pro. It's fast, light, and very handy. The new Keyboard mechanism is nice too.

Love the size, weight and flexibility. The screen is smaller than I'm accustomed to; however, it has not been a problem at all.

The staff in the Traverse City store was amazing. I know nothing about computers I was looking for my daughter and they were the best. If you ever need help and you live in northern michigan go to beat buy in traverse city.

My daughter has had a MacBook and needed to upgrade it. Based on past experience with Mac, she moved up to the MacBook Pro which will provide better performance for her to do her job. Would pick a Mac over a PC 7 days/week.

Used to be a Laptop fan but for friends recommendations decided to try the Mac knowing that if I didn't like it so much would be able to return it for a full refund. Needless to say that didn't happen and fell in love with it.
