The 8GB of RAM is great for multitasking and is flawless for my multiple tab web browsing and the Full HD screen. So much lighter than the macbook pro with the CD drive back in 2010 which was my previous laptop. The laptop has a great battery life and for additional $30 you can get the external CD drive. Also the GeekSquad Total assurance is so worth it because the plan covers accidental damage unlike AppleCare

After reading reviews upon reviews I finally decided on a MacBook. Having used Windows all my life I can say I'm thoroughly impressed with my new laptop. I've been using it every day for school for a few months now and I've not had a single problem. Macs are slightly overpriced in my opinion, but if you have the money I would definitely recommend it. Wait for a sale/student discount if you buy. Good luck!

I have always wanted to switch over to mac but didn't want to spend the money. This computer went on sale and I knew it was time. Got a great deal. It's worth the high price tag. Everything operates more smoothly and efficiently. Very user friendly. The track pad is very efficient. Great feedback with no lag time. Definitely do not regret my purchase. Can't see myself going back to a PC for a Loooonnnggg time.

It is small in size light weight but heavy duty. Gets the job done in half the time of a regular laptop. Very beautiful in design as well as clarity. It's light enough to carry in my purse and packed with all types of features. I love it.... Money well spent

Great laptop, great design looks impressive ultra thin and extremely light weight. Just getting used to new operating system very similar to my IPhone 6. It's very intuitive but still has a learning curve phone and MacBook are synchronized almost instantly you can start a task on one device and finish on another. I initially wanted the Mac because I didn't like windows 7. After purchasing, the product I am completely satisfied and hope this will be the only laptop I purchase while in college. MacBook Pro is a beautiful machine. Easy to use, even if your only prior laptop experience is a PC. The operating system is superior to Windows. It is just intuitive and everything just makes since. Fast, long, long lasting battery. Yes, Macs cost a little more, but it worth every penny. I sum it up with the fact that you find thousands of five star Apple reviews; have you ever seen consistent five star anything on Windows or any PC?

As a first time Apple Owner I am very satisfied with this product thus far. It is fast even when I have a lot of programs running and the display is crystal clear and crisp. I purchased this computer for college, and am confident that it will be able to take almost anything I have to throw at it over the next four years.

I keep asking myself why I waited so long to get a MacBook Pro. I will never go back to a PC-based laptop. This machine is blazing fast with zero hiccups and I've had it 2 months. It goes to sleep without any software issues and when you open the laptop, it powers up in a nano second. There have been no software issues even with Microsoft Office products on the machine. In addition, the battery length is amazing. I can easily get 10-12 hours of battery life on one charge. My previous PC-based laptop, which was a top of the line model, would only get 3 hours of battery life. This laptop is light and does everything a PC-based laptop can do without any of the conflict issues. I'm so happy!!!

I have never had an apple computer but, I was familiar with Apple because of having an iPad and iPhone 6. I am very happy with the quality, size, weight and easy of use. The screen quality is very good and battery recharges quickly. I had heard that the battery life was short but I have had great success with it.
