I have always wanted a mac but could never justify spending this much money on a computer. I received a bonus at work the same time that I needed to purchase a new laptop so I made the plunge and absolutely love it.

The MacBook Pro 13" with Retina is a great laptop for anyone looking for a little more than what the Air offers. I personally even prefer it over the new "MacBook"

My son used his last MacBook since 5th grade. He is now a junior and so, I know that I won't have to buy another one for college. They are very sturdy and safe.

Let me tell you right off the bat why the 2015 Retina display model is better than the new model. For starters, it's almost 50% cheaper, it's sturdier (although the new MacBook is sleek, the thinness makes the laptop more prone to damage) the specs for both lower end models are very comparable, except the 2016 MacBook slaps a $2k price tag. If you want hdmi or USB connections, you need an adapter. I've had this laptop for a year and I have no desire to upgrade anytime soon.

Went in knowing I was making the transition to a Mac. Had some concerns about my home computer not being compatible with my work computer, but the salesman filled me in and I've never been happier with a computer.

I loved this mac book because it's useful for many school activities and it is also light weight and very portable

The MacBook Pro Retina is much more than I expected. I have the Apple desktop and combined together gives me portability and flexibility. I also took out the Geek Squad membership and I am happy I did. Great techs!

Easy to use. Compatible with all my other apple products. Beautiful picture. By far the best laptop on the market.

I bought this computer to use at college. I wanted something I could rely on for four years. My sister bought a MacBook when she went off to college and highly recommended I do the same. We both love our Macbooks.

I would highly recommend this lap top. It is perfect for my college courses and recreational use.

What with the recent changes Apple has made to the MacBook Pro line, it is very possible that this is the last Apple Computer I will ever buy, so 1984 - 2016, it's been a good run, Apple, Rest In Peace. At least I will have only fond memories of the last Mac I buy... with one exception. Everyone considering a MacBook Pro, take heed! Unless either a) you only use your computer for surfing the net or b) you have expendable income to throw away on an iCloud subscription, DO NOT buy a MBP with the 128 GB solid state drive. 128 gigs is not enough space. You will constantly have storage issues. You will not be able to install half the software you want. The majority of your disk is already full before you even get home from the store. If I had this to do over, I'd have bought the 256 GB, and I would have given that one 5 stars because literally everything else about this computer is perfect. And that Retina display... just beautiful!

I was switching from a dell inspiron (windows) to an apple product. It was a very easy switch and easy to learn. Overall it is very good for those in the music industry or who are getting into anything to do with recording and composition. The best part is that if you have n iPhone or any other apple device, you can have every document and photo that you want to at your disposal on any of the devices. This was an awesome choice for me and hopefully for others as well!! :)

I have been a traditional windows user. I finally made the decision to move to iOS and Apple and was amazed by the interface and how seamless the transition was. The configuration, interface and use in the MacBook pro has been a pleasant experience so far and flash storage is a big plus.

I bought this Laptop for my wife, She loves it! The picture quality is beyond awesome! Battery Life is Excellent since she isn't all that great at putting anything on the charger it lasts her at least 4 days of good use. All the USB ports are a major + It isn't as thin as the airs but when you compare would you rather have usb ports or a thinner laptop. DEFINITELY worth every penny.

I decided to go with the MacBook Pro rather than torture myself and buy another PC that uses Windows for an operating system. The MacBook, by Apple, Inc., is well worth the investment. I will never own another PC.

Best Buy is the place to purchase Apple products. Less expensive then purchasing the same unit directly from the Apple Store. Other benefit is that I can recieve support from Best Buy or Apple.

Very good with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, easy to use. Fast speed, no lag. No need for buffering on videos.

So easy to use. The retina is the best I have seen. All of the pictures that I take and upload are just beautiful.

Truly a pinnacle of engineering achievement, the new Macbook pro continues the history of excellence set by apple. Yes, more expensive, but you'll be satisfied when this sucker hunkers down for the next 7 years.

The laptop is a great but that configuration has a small drive. Fortunately it can be upgraded.
