I do web development work, so I needed the retina screen to allow me to view full-width screens. I was concerned about 8MB of memory and 13.3" screen simply being too little, but after 2 wks of hard use, I've only seen the stall ball once. The retina screen is beautiful! ...and legit 8 - 10 hour in use battery life. My 1st MAC, which I feel like I was stuck having to buy, and I'm pleasantly surprised.

I absolutely LOVE my MacBook Pro! I have only recently started using Apple products and although I was a little hesitant at first, I am so glad I made the change. My MacBook is really user friendly and I learned how to navigate and customize it with ease. It was a little pricey but it has turned out to be well worth the money. The only issue I have with it is that I had to purchase a whole new external hard drive because I didn't realize that the one I had was formatted to my Windows OS and would not be compatible with iOS. I also had a few issues with the one I purchased initially and was not able to be helped by BestBuy because they said that the Apple Store has to work on their own products even though I purchased through BestBuy. Luckily, the Apple Store provided exceptional service regardless of where I made my Apple product purchase and resolved the issue very quickly. Overall, I am very satisfied with my MacBook and look forward to purchasing more Apple products!

I had researched a ton before making my final purchase. Was debating between the macbook pro and the macbook pro retina. The retina display is so sharp and clear. It's super light and easy to clean as well. As far as battery life, I'll use my macbook for a few hours a day and not have to charge it until maybe 3-4 days in. One of the best purchases I've ever made. Highly recommended product.

The best computer I have ever owned by far. Lightning fast. Works seamlessly with my other Apple devices. Exceptional power. Gorgeous screen. What more could you want in a computer? Apple computers are phenomenal in every aspect. Also, for those of you who don't know, there are multiple ways to get Windows on a Mac if you really needed it! A+++ across the board. Do yourself a favor and buy a Mac.

I was hesitant at first to purchase this laptop, because I honestly didn't really know how to work a Mac. I was always a PC person, but I must say, I have no regrets in buying it. I bought it mainly because I was told this was the go-to laptop for photo editing. The retina display is also fantastic! I actually wish I had gotten the 15.4" one, and maybe I should've gotten one that was 256gb or 500gb. Because I shoot photos in RAW files, it takes up a lot of space. I find myself running out of storage on this laptop, but that's why I had to buy an external hard drive. Nonetheless, I love this laptop to edit my photos. It's still in excellent condition after over a year.

I started looking for a new laptop before I started school because I finally got sick of waiting sometimes 20 min for my old laptop to boot up. It was ridiculous, nobody's got time for that! Anyways I've had my mac for a couple months and so far I love everything about it! It is fast and efficient and the battery charge lasts forever. It was more than I wanted to spend, but we'll worth it.

My MacBook Pro with retina display is fassssst. Six seconds after I turn it on I'm computing. Battery life is an amazing 10-11 hours. The display is literally crystal clear. If you are a PC user like I was, there is a small learning curve with mouse pad and keyboard usage. If I can learn at age 65 you'll be able to learn. Do yourself a favor and check out MacBook. I'll never own another pc.

I spent months researching what my new computer would be and decided to go with the MacBook Air. Once I got to the store I noticed that for a few hundred dollars more I could get the MacBook Pro and decided to get that instead. It's amazing! It's very light weight and super fast. This is my first Mac computer and going from PC to Mac is very easy. I've learned the system very fast.

I needed a new computer as it had been more than 9 years since I bought my last laptop. As a result, I could not sync my iPhone or iPad with my computer. I looked into buying a new Apple, and after reading copious reviews, I settled on the MacBook Pro. It does everything a basic computer user like myself needs it to do, and it also has an appealing design and user friendly layout.

I should have gotten a Mac years ago, this is the best computer I've ever owned. intuitive, fast, works seem less with all other apple products, can face time/text/receive phone calls easy and naturally while on it. It starts in no time, it works and is easy to figure out, wow. I wish it had more internal memory is only complaint, having to save everything to a external is annoying.

I have been purchasing apple products for some time now because so far they have yet to disappoint me. It's fast, runs smoothly and doesn't over heat after using for numerous hours which is a plus seeing that my husband practically lives on it. We will update our review once we've had it for a year or so.

I owned an HP before this and when the screen detached from the keyboard (I've never dropped it before, I swear), I knew it was time for a new buy. My main reason for buying a mac is for Garageband and all the media editing software. Also, I really like how sleek it looks. Its super user friendly and just aesthetically pleasing overall. No problems I've encountered so far!

I've always been an Apple gal and couldn't be happier with my upgrade from my 2011 MacBook Pro to the new MacBook Pro with Retina display. LOVE the retina display. HUGE improvement on the sound quality. And much, much lighter physically! I do basic Adobe and photography as a hobby and it is perfect. Otherwise I only use it for personal use. Definitely recommend the upgrade!

Great Mac for taking it on the go. Light weight, yet fast and powerful.

I needed a computer that I could use reliably for college, was initially going to get an Dell XPS 13. After looking at this and the Dell XPS I decided that I wanted to try something completely different then windows because I am plagued with problems whenever I get a new Windows based computer. This computer hasn't had a single hiccup since I bought it and runs very well for school. Pros: Simple, easy to set up, fast charge, long battery, small Cons: Small flash drive, not the fastest cpu (not really noticeable for everyday computing)
