I waited for the new MacBook Pro to come out before deciding which to purchase. While new is great, I was looking for a device that would travel with me and provide the support I needed for my photography work. I wanted to use the same software I use at home and have a simple device. This MacBook Pro provides the same functionality to me to do what I need to do and the price was better since this will be a secondary device.

Great laptop. This device is definitely worth the money. I have had dell laptops in the past. the Mac is easier to navigate. It is nice not having to remember to run scanDisk or defriend.

Decided to purchase my first MAC and many models of PC. Wow I'm glad I made this purchase and hoping I don't have to purchase many MACs as I did PCs. Even replace parts on my PC was a lot. I was a little nervous about the heat that this laptop puts out, but was told that Macs are built to withstand some heat. Haven't had any problems especially since I'm using a lap cooling fan to be on the safe side. I'm a MAC noob!
