I love my new computer. It is super fast, lightweight, and user friendly.

I always read reviews and never write them myself but this machine warrants one. I have always been a PC lover, but 3 months ago I gave in a had to give apple a chance. My FIRST apple laptop from PC. Let me tell you, it is a whole different experience - in a good way. Before this I bought a top of the line Lenovo which cost almost as much as the MacBook. It was slow, and not what I was expecting from a 2017 computer. I returned it and I bought this and its a better experience: faster, lighter, sleeker, looks better, and did I mention fast? If you've been hesitant to go Mac, don't be. Give this a try, you won't regret it.

This is my first laptop and I have to say that it's really nice. It's lightweight and fast compared to other laptops. It charges fairly quickly also. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that as a person who isn't used to Apple, it was a bit confusing to find certain things and get used to the format. Overall, I think it's suitable for various purposes.

Top notch apple laptop - very fast , reasonably light, and great screen

after looking through all the models I choose the Mac book pro I love the keyboard light and how fast the laptop is its a nice size and the weight isn't bad. The picture and videos look awesome,and it hasn't been giving me problems.

Macbook pro has long battery life, light weight,and beautiful design

After going back and forth on whether to do a MacPro or Air I am so happy going with the Pro. The speed is great and can handle anything I need to do on it. The screen is beautiful and was frankly the deciding factor. If you do a lot of reading on the computer and are between the two, definitely go with a retina screen! No eye fatigue at all. I love my MacPro

Nothing has changed in the MacBook Pro design from last year, 2014. Their dimensions are the same and the ports (USB, Thunderbolt and HDMI) have not changed. This 2015 MBPro does have a faster SSD and a new CPU, Intel Broadwell. The trackpad changed to a Force Touch pad which makes the whole trackpad a button and adds the Force Touch feature. No change on the retina screen resolution but as gorgeous as ever. Battery life increased about 1 hour.

So I will not lie and say that I'm not a apple fan, but before being an apple fan I'm a fan of great products first. This laptop is easily the best laptop on the market for many reason. The design, speed, and the beautiful OS. This product can fit the needs of anyone. The price tag is a bit much in some people's minds, but as they say. You get what you pay for.

Nice laptop, light weight, fast speed, sharp images by retina screen

Have been using MacBook Pros since the 17" models. Previously had the Mid 2014 15" refresh and am glad I upgraded. The new 2015 13" is equivlent, even in the base model to the entry level 15" 2014 model. Everything just seems as quick with the newer CPU, Intel VGA, SSD and logic board chipset. Force pad touchpad works similar to the older pad w/o the loud click sounds when pressed, however, still hinged to simulate a click feel. I've used it mainly for browsing on Chrome & Firefox, notes, spreadsheets, documents, some terminal/console parsing and learning IDE development (compiles and runtime with Eclipse equivalent to my 15"), movie and photo editing. Definitely a noticeable upgrade from the previous model. The Retina display is definitely a must with any laptop, increases the use of 1 screen w/o the need of an external monitor. Of course having a larger native display screen is better but it does come with a weight penalty. If only they would release a MacBook Air with a Retina screen... The only deficiencies on the 13" 2015 model come in the form of hardcore gaming or streaming video, the onboard Nvidia VGA with my 15" 2014 model had less artifacts such as frame drops, judder and blocking or jaggies compared to the Intel VGA. This is expected with the entry level Intel VGAs.

Great apple product. Light weight, small, portable,great resolution.

This computer is absolutely amazing. Everything from the screen to the keyboard is fascinating. It runs excellently for schoolwork and business work. It's compact, but not too compact. It's the perfect size. The best part of it is how user-friendly it is. It's a little odd getting used to the operating system but it's wonderful after getting used to it.

I had purchased an hp computer less than two years ago for college and after numerous issues with it and being fed up with it I came to the realization that I should've spent the extra money the first time to get a mac book. It is amazing I am a college student and this makes working on homework reports and more so much easier. Also if you have an iPhone you can get messages on it and reply during class without being rude and being on your phone which is a nice plus. I love everything about it the resolution is great, everything works flawlessly, and it works hand in hand with my iPhone and iPad. So if you are on the fence about getting one, due to the price because that was my original concern, save yourself some time and money and buy one the first time around you'll be glad you did.
