I've had this laptop for over a month and I can honestly say that this is the best laptop I have ever owned. It is a little pricey but if you can afford it, don't even hesitate to buy it. After 2 weeks of using it, you will not want to return it. Super quick and very high def screen, the perfectly backlit keyboard makes a pretty good addition as well.

Was afraid to buy this product because of cost, but glad I did! It is fast easy to use and better than a PC. I have never used a Mac before but it has become my favorite purchase ever. Beautiful screen and so light weight!

Easy to use and set up, great display and feels light yet sturdy

It's been 5 years since I upgraded my MacBook. It's definitely much thinner and lighter. The retina display really makes a huuuuge difference. I'm not the photoshop or editing type of girl, but It helps having retina display just for picture/video viewing purposes. This def has a faster memory. The force touch trackpad is great, too. Very sensitive.

I personally decided on this laptop because it works the fastest. From experience with other laptops this one worked the fastest I've never had any issues and its lighter then my old laptop. So yeah I'd definitely recommend this item and I'd recommend getting warranty on it and geek squad protection in case anything happens they can always help you.

This is my first Mac laptop...I was reluctant to switch from Windows but v10 upgrade in Windows gave us enough problems and pushed us to switch. I initially purchased the Mac Pro 2012 version that was on sale during thanksgiving but later noticed 2015 version on sale during Christmas week and swapped out with a couple of 100s more. I am glad I did that as 2015 version is SSD so super fast, lightweight, and twice in terms of RAM...And it is great to Airplay from Mac using the new AppleTv that we purchased recently. I was also initially thinking 128GB may not be sufficient but looking at my old Windows PC, I realized I have used only 150GB space over the last 5yrs. So with external hard drive, 128GB should be good enough is what I think. Overall experience is great so far.

Very simple to use and very effective it does the job for both my sons school and also for the business.battery lasts a long time and we feel that we can take it anywhere since it's a great size and not heavy at all

Not just because a Apple Fan, but mac always never have any problems with receiving viruses compared to pc. It rarely freezes or crashes like the pc, and you are able to use it smoothly. Buying the retina is worth the couple hundred dollars, compared to a nonretina version. Rather buy the macbook pro retina compared to the price of the new macbook.

I've been a Mac girl my whole life. This new computer with Retina display is amazing. Super lightweight and easy to work with. Not sure how user friendly it is for non Mac users, but nevertheless an awesome choice for myself.

This computer is easy to use , it clear and the settings is convenient. The compatability is more better than other computer I have used. The retina feature are magnificent. Navigation is easy and usability is good and standerd for this present time , school work presentations and also conferences even at work I do not need glasses al..some.

I was always a pc user and after purchasing my Mac I'll never go back. It's fast, easy to use and has everything I need for school. Plus I'm not going to lie, I love that my text messages come through from my iphone onto my laptop. The only thing I had trouble with at first was scrolling but after figuring it out I felt more comfortable

I bought my first MacBook Pro in summer of 2009 and it has lasted me faithfully since then. In the past year, it's started to lag a bit and freeze up more often so it was time for an upgrade. I knew I wanted a Retina screen and since the Airs do not have them, I went for the Pro which are only about .5 lbs heavier than the Air. I love the purchase; the technology has changed so much since I first bought the MacBook that I do feel like I'm getting a brand new laptop with significant updates from the SSD to the Force Touch, and especially the Retina screen! Worth every dollar -- especially when it's on sale like it was when I bought it! Under $1000 out the door.

This notebook is replacing a Mac notebook from 2010 that was stolen out of my car at school. I am impressed with the speed of my notebook. The color is much better than the previous notebook and it is much lighter. The lighted keyboard is very helpful in dim environments.

This computer does everything I ask of it. I’m not a gamer or someone who needs the very best and newest so when I could get last years model on sale I went for it. I use it for classes/work, and for internet and music and it does everything I ask of it. Is is fast and efficient and I would highly recommend it.

Very happy with MacBook Pro w/ Retina display Fairly painless conversion from Windows to the Mac OS and am finding it much easier to use than Windows. Computer is quick and quiet. Intuitive and easy to use. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new computer.

I made the jump from PC to Mac and I have no regrets. The first days were an adjustment, but shortly after you start to wonder why you waited so long to make the change. Great machine. Quiet, fast, smooth, reliable. Make the change and don't look back. Retina display is fantastic, I look forward to years of dependability and no Windows BS!
