I bought this for my wife and her only complaint is that documents she had on her pc do not convert correctly to the Mac. She said the format is different and she has to fix it. Other than that she's happy

Light, and quick, with a gorgeous screen display - just what we needed.

I've been using apple MacBook Pro's since they came out on the market and they never let me down. I still own a 13" MacBook Pro Mid 2009 and has no issues. I upgraded to a new 13" MacBook Pro with Retina Display in 2014. That computer is so good, I bought another one. I use my computers for regular office work, class work, photo editing, video editing, regular entertainment related to being online as watching Netflix, Youtube etc. My 13" MacBook Pro with Retina Display has a basic 8 GB memory and 128 GB of storage. I don't store almost anything in there. For that I use an external 2T hard drive. I've never gotten a virus on an Apple computer. It always happened on a PC if you were not up to date on an antivirus software. Apple computers are so easy to use and understand but very restrictive about software. There is not a lot of software available for Macs. On the plus side that's what makes a Mac more secure. There is the ability to run Windows program on a Mac, but I've never done that. The MacBook Pro with aluminum body are so durable that literally I once threw my 2009 Mac across the living room braking a kitchen cabinet door and all because my dog made me mad. But anyway, if you want ease of use, reliability, and great graphics, you can't go wrong with a MacBook Pro.

First of all, I own a previous model that I bought for myself several years ago. I then purchased this model for my daughter after she lost interest in her previous "laptop". She noticed the quality in my MacBook Pro and hated that her Surface Pro 3 was not up to par. She has been completely happy with the MacBook Pro and she said she won't own anything else.

Had a MacBook Pro since 2008. It all of sudden started to run slow and the battery wouldnt hold a charge. I purchased this updated model that was on sale, plus used my 10% off birthday coupon. Made for a great price. Highly recommend this model. I love how quickly it starts up. Transitions from program to program seemlessly. Perfect for college or travel.

I Love the speed of internet I used Mac book for 7 years and loved it , that's why I decided to go with Mac book again , it was the right decision .

I am very happy with my purchase. My (last) computer, almost 6 years old, became slow, bogged down and sounded like a plane ready to take off without notice, esp in the middle of the night. I bought this Macbook Pro with Retina Display, with a small discount of $150. I have always wanted to take the plunge to purchase an Apple, and I finally did with NO regrets!!!

So I am upgrading from the hard drive version and there is no comparison with the pcie flash. Even though I only get 128G of HD, the speed is worth it.
