Very good laptop. Light weight. Easy to use. Great screen

We purchased 3 macs within a matter of a couple weeks of each other. We love this product. We even had help with geek squad when we messed up and attached to many accounts. Geek Squad id defiantly worth the price if you are not tech savvy! We have not had one issue with our macs since we have gotten them. They are fast and easy to use.

I was trying to decide between the pro and the air because I was expecting to do some amount of programming and also traveling a bit with the mac. After a month on the road with the pro, it's held up very well and has met all my needs. I was worried about the weight of the pro compared to the macbook air but its not that bad at all.

We purchased this MacBook Pro for my daughter (she loves it) and were deciding between a regular MacBook (i.e. no retina screen) and this. We felt the price difference is worth, due to a significantly faster processor and a better screen. It feels more "future proof" and for that we probably paid $200 more than the lesser option.

So I've purchased in the last 3-4 mths the mini3 then the new MacBook Air n now I have found the perfect work to home to travel laptop.. If you use your laptop for either one of those 3 things I'd tell you, your crazy if you don't go buy this MacBook Pro....there has yet to be a road block for me n this MacBook pro! Great job Apple!!!

Fast, very portable, battery lasts all day. Great laptop!

This is just about the perfect laptop for me. I love the ability to scale the screen to get more usable space, and overall, I think this is a great laptop! I can't say enough good things about the go-anywhere nature of this unit. Battery life is fantastic, and I was surprised to find that performance is much better than I expected.

I grew up using Apple computers, so it only seemed fitting that I should get one to start college with. Through the helpful staff at my local store, I purchased this laptop and immediately fell in love with it. The retina display and ultra thin design add a sleek new touch to the traditional Macbook Pro. Easy to navigate and set up.

As the description says,this was my first Mac.So far the transition from Windows to OS,has been pretty straightforward.It has plenty of power to do what I need,the display is stunning,and I really like the back-lit keyboard. I've only had it for about a month,as long as it holds up,this will be one of the best purchases I've made.

Great computer. Great screen. Very fast. Easy to use

I've been using the iPhone and iPad for several years but this is my first Apple computer. It's great to access any device and have it sync seamlessly. The storage and speed is sufficient, it's a very light and compact product, and I've enjoyed accessorizing it to personalize my MacBook from the millions out there. It is very user-friendly and has great functionality for anyone who feels s/he is less tech savvy, yet boasts great potential for the expert.

Lightweight, easy to use, lightning fast!!!!!!!!!!

I love my new Apple MacBook Pro! I almost went with a windows laptop because that's what I'm used to but so glad my sister talked me into the Mac. It's easy to learn with a little time and patience. This computer has the clearest and most beautiful screen picture I've ever seen. I'm so proud & happy to use my MacBook Pro!

If you need a razor sharp screen, and horsepower to do video/photo editing, you can't go wrong with the Macbook Pro. However, if you don't need a retina screen and the horsepower, I would go with the Macbook Air. Better bang for the buck, and serves most end user needs. If you need ultimately portability, go with the Macbook.

I love my MacBook Pro! It is really fast and the best laptop I have purchased thus far. It took a while to get used to the force-touch track pad but I love it now! Just wish Apple wasn't so expensive ;) I'm a little concerned with the amount of memory as I purchased the base model, but nothing an external drive can't fix!

Exceptional speed, display, and very user friendly.

I originally purchased the Lenovo yoga 2 and after using windows 8 I returned it. The yoga was very light buy keyboard was annoying. The trackpad was off center and the return and delete buttons were small, I always hit some other key when typing. I am a mac person but wanted to get a light weight laptop for school with good specifications. I thought about the Macbook Air but it was too expensive for the specs. After all this I ended up buying the latest generation macbook pro 13inch. I love the new trackpad it is very quiet when tapping and it is a powerful laptop that will last me for another 8 years like my first generation macbook pro 15 inch. The only thing is that I wish apple would make the laptops a little lighter.

I bought this MacBook as a replacement for the MacBook Air 13in and it was definitely worth it. The Retina display is gorgeous and the processing speeds are like night and day compared to the MacBook air. Plus you have the HDMI port and lightning bolt ports on the MacBook Pro that you miss out on when you have the air.

We have used Macs for years. I started back to school this summer, so I needed something I can lug to work or wherever we may need to go with the family. I like the way the pro feels a little more substantial. I am a preschool teacher, and the kids can see videos I pull up for them. It's fast and efficient. It took a little getting used to the tracking pad, but I think I'm getting the hang of it now. This summer I used my sons inexpensive school laptop and the Retina display is a wonderful, welcome change!!! I would recommend this to just about anyone.
