The MacBook Pro is another shining example of Apple computing. Great battery life, lightning fast start-up speed, and a beautiful screen. My prior MacBook is only now slowing down 6+ years after purchase. I imagine this new MacBook Pro will also be a workhorse for years to come. Highly recommended.

We have become a Macbook family! This is a phenomenal laptop. It is so easy to use, more secure than most laptops, and extremely capable of meeting the demands for career or college. It is thin, light, and so easy to carry securely. We now only recommend Macbook after using other laptops for years.

My first Apple, impressed with bright, amazingly detailed "Retina" graphics, keyboard responsiveness, advanced touchpad, lots of connectivity on both sides of laptop, and SSD drive (Super quick startup). These observations only happened after getting home, using machine several days, exploring MacBook feature set, on personal level, without distractions and at my own pace. Thanks BestBuy! Rare "Apple" sale better afforded me daily opportunity for luxurious bytes of this lightweight technical marvel. On hard surface, laptop completely cucumber cool, running 6-8 hours no sweat. (100% recharge, from being drained to 15%, takes less than 2 hours). Powering external Blu-ray player, screen near max brightness, there's ample time for several movies, plus going on Safari, before taking break, recharging. Always bought PC desktops. Shopping for first laptop, took weeks researching online reviews, soul searching. With PC's getting better, never “needed” Mac. “Wanted” one but COST always turned impact of Apple displays, reputation, (the WOW!) into OW-OUCH. Spending nearly double wasn't comfortable. But after using this for a month every chance I get, it was stunningly well worth taking the advice of the BestBuy guy (Garrett) who helped steer me toward this purchase, scratching off the list two other brands of lower priced "comparable to Apple specs" PC Laptops, I'd studied extensively. Worth mentioning for folks like me, with hearing problems... As most laptops: "If the apple falls in the forest; will it make a noise?" It's not Apple's fault that to my ears, MacBook's integrated audio and speakers often present a thin and tin, low volume, listening challenge. On bulk of sources, had difficulty, even with volume cranked at maximum. Routine computer speakers didn’t impress. Found them lacking sonic quality and ultimately fatiguing. Headphones did help, slightly. However, In//over ear, hours later: sore ears. Best consensus for clearer, louder, headphone or peripheral speaker performance: AudioQuest USB Dragonfly DAC/Amp. Supposedly Magnolia//BestBuy (listed by AudioQuest site) carries such an item when they become available again. In great demand for improving laptop sound; Dragonfly is out of stock… everywhere. Hopefully Magnolia gets some soon. Careful! Check AudioQuest website and only buy from accredited places (BestBuy). Sadly, there’s “fake” versions being sold now. How bizarre. Another MacBook enhancement would be truly adjustable stand, providing more comfortable viewing levels: reading, movies. Searched web to find upstanding product fitting my fussy requirements, without breaking bank; No joy. Apple site has remotely plausible MacBook stand(s) in my opinion. Again, prices are… elevated. Wish BestBuy carried those items in-store under Demos. Apple store must order them. Glad I waited, while laptops improved, and discovered MacBook Pro performs beyond my expectations. Saving $200, totally took edge off sticker shock. Buyer’s remorse... NOT. Thoroughly delighted! B.E.S.T. (Beyond Expectations--Sale Timing) BYE.

Computer is fast, beautiful color display. Perfect for my draughts nursing classes. Holds a charge for a long time. Would recommend to a friend or co-worker.

I always been a windows user but had iPhones and iPads. I walked in to Best Buy to check out the new MacBook Pro. It looks really nice but I didn't like the fact it only had 2 USB C inputs. I wanted something with HDMI , SD card slot, and USB 3! So I decided to go with the 2015 Mac Book pro. It looks amazing and I love the apple logo black light a lot. Sad the new models don't have it. I use this laptop for web browsering and Pro Tools 12 and it runs it well! My second laptop is an Alienware 14 witch is still a really good laptop but I wanted something different and slimmer. Very happy with this MacBook and got it at a good deal!

What can I say, its a MAC! flawless performance, the software and hardware are in perfect harmony :) thats what apple does best. Nothing can beat the kind of performance apple brings out on intel hardware. instant start with the SSD, super long battery life. Wouldnt thing twice about buying these.

It replaces an iBook G4, vintage 2004 and performance is incredibly fast as an upgrade. I looked at other similar laptops on the market as well as the iMac, but decided on this model. It's portability, as well as it's reputation as a high quality device won me over. Happy with it, no complaints.

Big enough on the inside, small enough on the outside to meet all needs. Having above- average computer skills, this does everything I need. It's an Apple - it's awesome. I switched to Apple 6 years ago and I'm hooked. Customer service is A+, but these computers never break down. BUY ONE!!!!!

Love the design and the battery life . Completely satisfied with operating system. Most of the pre-installed applications are great (except iTunes) and it was easy to set up and get going once I took it out of the box. Haven't really used it for anything heavy duty like editing, yet though.

This computer is my work horse. I use it for every college assignment and to take notes. I also run my own photography business and the MacBook Pro is the perfect laptop to edit pictures on. Absolutely love it and will never go back to any other operation system.

Purchased this computer as a replacement for our windows 10 computer. Quite simply, it works well. No issues slowing slowing down as has occurred with most of the Windows Computers I have owned over the years. My wife uses the Mac, I still get the Windows 10 PC:( The Mac is simple to use, applications play well with each other, great for watching Netflix, Amazon video, etc. Light weight, does not make noise. A complaint I read about often is the lack of USB ports, etc... With a wireless printer, we don't need lots of ports to plug things into the computer. Yes it is a bit pricy, but expect it will serve our needs for several years.

This computer is just what i wanted. It is super fast and I am amazed how short the boot up time is. The battery life is crazy long. I have only had it about a month and a half, but so far it has exceeded all of my expectations!

Got $100 off of this Macbook Pro. Retina display made it worth it. 2 qualms: 128GB isn't a great amount of storage, and it gets a little hot sometimes.

This is my girlfriend's computer, so I have not used it extensively. But what's not to like about the sleek, beautiful design?!? The retina display is incredible, and I really like the keyboard. The price tag is higher than the equivalent Windows laptop, but it's art as well as machine.

I bought my macbook pro to be used with a monitor at my office and also to unplug and use on the weekends or when traveling. I am very happy with the performance and options the macbook pro has provided me and would highly recommend it to anyone who is constantly on the go for business.

It's fast and very portable. It has enough power for what I want to do. I especially like the new force touch track pad. The ability to be able to easily press down and click on the pad where the hinge would usually be is a small thing but very convenient since I don't have long fingers.

Love my new Macbook Pro Retina. It's fast and fairly user friendly. I do wish that there were better tutorials that show how to transfer my skills from my Dell/Windows usage to the Apple. I'm still having problems getting it to do simple tasks! Other than that, it's a great machine!

Great CPU speed. Seamless integration with various iPhone functions that make my life easier. Mac docs and apps are easier to use than what was first reported to me. What can you say about Retina Display? I'm happy with the battery life as well, great size laptop and a great value!!!

This is my first Apple notebook and I love it! It's fast, simple to use, and all around a great product! I would recommend the MacBook Pro to any of the other's if you're looking to spend this kind of money on a notebook that will last you the rest of your life (slight exaggeration).

After purchasing a Windows laptop a few months ago I was very disappointed in how slow it seemed to run, all the nonsense apps that were included and endless setup and updates. The Mac was up and running in minutes. Everything is smooth and easy. Great apps included. Love GarageBand!
