If you are looking for a laptop that is middle of the road, then this is the computer for you. It is good for a student or a person with a small business. Nice and light weight to take with you everywhere. Big enough to do all you need to do. We bought an open box to save an extra hundred dollars and am very happy we did. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the computer and it has the same warranty as a computer in a sealed box.

Just purchased my first Apple laptop and love how it integrates with my iPhone. I was used to WindowsOS, but learned MacOS quickly. Although this Macbook Pro is on the heavy side compared to my Windows Ultrabook, the battery life is awesome! The retina display is really nice too.

I bought this for my HS senior daughter who is currently working on her college AA online. Great basic Apple tool, a reliable and affordable gateway to the Apple laptop user world. Nice size, lightweight, bought cool cloth case on Amazon for it. Great value for the dollar and user.

I first got a Microsoft Surface for my son a few years ago thinking it would work better for school homework, Outlook email, projects in Power Point, assays in Word, etc. I even bought the keypad to facilitate the environment. Then, a year latter, after many product reviews, we decided to do the previously "unthinkable" jump to the Mac Book Pro w/ Retina. It was like adding fuel to my kid desire to study more, complete his homework and enjoy his projects. I do not know what is it with Apple everything products but even being stuck in a traffic jam is now enjoyable as long you are holding an i-something. I guess is not only Apple but that is what all my family has, and we do not need to consider other brands. The Mac works great, both as a educational need and recreational option. It went black screen once or twice and required service covered by warranty. It took a while for the Geek Squad to return it but we have had no issues since then.

Have been a Mac user for almost 10 years. This is my third Mac computer and second laptop. My first laptop lasted about 7 years which I feel is very acceptable. This one is even faster and smoother and a joy to use. Yeah, Macs are expensive but I feel they are worth every penny!

Nothing bad to report on this model! Battery life is extended by one hour, making it 10 hours long now. The force track pad is pretty cool, almost an optical illusion that it actually goes down like a button but it doesn't. Def worth the purchase if you haven't purchased a macbook within 3-5 years. Must buy if you don't have a macbook pro at all!

i love this computer. This is my first Macbook and i am having no problem learning it. It is very quick even if i open multiple windows. The picture and the sound quality is awesome. I had issue with newer version of citrix but the older version of citric application ran fine.

I accidentally spilled water on my old computer this past December right in the middle of finals (which was also a MacBook Pro)! I knew a lot of people that have the slim version, so I was thinking about getting it, but after talking to the sales associate, I decided to just get the updated MacBook Pro. I'm glad I did! It's fast and so much lighter than the older version. I use it for school and it's perfect. I will never get anything other than a Mac, because they have never steered me wrong. I do wish it has more internal space, but I bought an external hard drive that I plan to use.

The MacBook Pro is a fantastic computer to not only have at home, but to travel with. It is light in weight, and I have never had a problem with MacBook Pros. The only reason I got a new one from the first one I got in 2007 was the upgraded graphics and speed. I love Macs!

The title says it all. If you want power, speed, reliability, and relatively balanced portability then the MacBook Pro is for you. I purchased this now before the incoming revision to the Pro lineup because BestBuy offered a huge sale price I couldn't pass up. I'm not a super heavy media user. Just above average with video editing, picture editing, Microsoft office, and browsing, video streaming, etc and it has the power to keep up. The only trouble I had was getting use to the Force Trackpad. It's odd at first but you get use to it. Even when you get use to it though, it's just very different from a traditional trackpad. It certainly doesn't blow me away and I think I prefer plugging in my mini mouse. Other than that, this MacBook Pro is powerful and one of the best laptops I've owned!

This new generation MacBook Pro is suprisingly sleek but hold an incredible amount of performance capabilities. The retina display is unbeatable compared to other competitor laptops. The new force touchpad adds even more user to machine bonding and opens even more shortcuts.

Having switched from PC, the sheer speed of a Mac is totally outrageous. And since I own an iPhone, I can easily switch between my two devices and continue where I have left off. The only downside is the price.

I love my Mac Book Pro! I am a student and this computer has been given a real workout. Storage, speed and battery life are more than adequate for my needs. If you are considering a Mac Book Pro, please know that you'll be making a solid purchase.

Have had this laptop for over 2 years and hope to have it for another 5:) I use this computer for work and streaming. I am a teacher, so it is mostly Word, PP and Excel programs, e-mails, social media and online learning platforms. Never have to worry about a virus. The graphics are up to Apple's standard. Everything is simple and intuitive. A BIG plus are the speakers on this one. They are really loud!:) It is slim and light enough to throw it in a backpack and take it anywhere you need. Love & recommend it!:)

Bought the laptop for my wife because she is a mac junkie. And I have been very impressed. I love how long the battery lasts and how quick it can start up. Since we use it as our main computer we are constantly opening and closing to look up the randoms throughout the day.

I had bought one before(2014 model) to be honest, the force touch trackpad is what sold me. My initial mistake was to make this my only computer after coming from Microsoft software. I love the app store just for Mac, effortless. The battery life is amazing, can'the forget about that beautiful screen and heaven to use trackpad; and the beautiful build is unmatched. I'm still getting used to the OS. For some reason this product is slower than my phone, and Surface Pro 3. I hope it changes. But I will be keeping this beautiful item.

I needed a laptop for college; a laptop that I hope will last me a long time. I thought the MacBook would be the perfect laptop for me and it lived up to my expectations. Not only is the laptop crazy fast, it also has an amazing screen to back it up. Very premium laptop.

I was a little reluctant to buy at first but since purchasing it, I simply love everything about it. It's sleek, lightweight (in comparison to others) and learning the shortcuts are so easy. Haven't experienced any issues at all even with internet browsing popups, etc

it is kinda pricy but you get what you paid for this is super fast and feels amazing its also surprisingly light swell battery last a good while too love it!!!!!
