I like the batery life, it's light, thin, reliable, silent (I had a Lenovo before and it's unbelievable noisy!), super fast, In a nutshell, I seriously love it!

Fast, light, really excellant battery life,charges quickly too. My first apple laptop , took a little time to get familiar with the operating sys. But since i use an iphone that helped. Don't hesitate to use apple support they r very helful Love the lighted keys

Best Mac I have picked up. Got the 128GB HDD and only needed to pick up an external. Don't need much space if you are doing specifics, just keep in mind with the retina, you buy what you get without chance to update yourself. Fun computer for your everyday personal needs. Doesn't game much but does some (don't expect it to replace any gaming PC you may have). Uses Photoshop like a charm and a lot of other editing programs. Takes a little with video because the i5 isn't really suited for it, but if this thing had an i7, I would had been set. Still felt like well worth my money and more.

What about this laptop do I NOT like?? Ok, it's the small storage capacity... But I purchased an external hard drive to help with that. After tons of research and with hesitation, I went for gold and got this laptop with retina display. Haven't had a migraine in 4 months! I think my old MacBook might have been a culprit. HD screens are a trigger for my own migraine headaches. Between that and the new iOS 10 that came out, I haven't suffered a headache since :). Very happy here. This laptop is also amazingly fast!! I do not miss the spinning disc drive. You won't either.

Definitely the slickest, compatible laptop for me. As I'm getting use to the new touch, it's refreshingly smooth. The battery life is longer than my older model! The clarity of the screen display is stunning. It's light weight and easy to transport when I'm on the go.

Like the battery life, speed, size and capability. Have alot to learn coming from PC land...but working at it. Happy with my choice.

I love my MacBook Pro with Retina display. I chose it be I love to take pictures and as a preschool teacher I'll use iMovie to created movies to showcase my class which is super easy! I'll also use the easy to use photo editing in Photos to help make pictures look even better. I upgraded from an older MacBook Pro and found the processing speed to be be super fast! But what I absolutely love is that it's smaller in size and weight!! Downside is that it no longer has a CD drive which I used to make copies of my movies, and they got rid of some of the ports. But It's totally ok.

I purchased this laptop for my daughter. For me, the price point was a major factor: on sale during Christmas season. She has been thrilled with having longer batter life, the retina display, SD-card slot, and seamless integration with her other Apple products.

The Mac Book Pro has a great display and has the expected Apple quality. I am happy with the weight , a big concern as I Travel a lot. I am also very happy with the solid state drive. I do wish that the 256G byte option had been available, but the 128G drive is working great and is fast. My only complaint is with the new mouse that allows you to click any where on the mouse pad. It can be hard to get things to drag the way I am used too. I am sure with time I will adjust to this new way the mouse pad functions.

I bought this for my wife. she is a student and spends 4-5 hours a day working on her papers. The computer is light, easy to use, and synch well with our other apple products. the price is right! worthy.

While it was a bit of a learning curve, coming from a pc, I love the ease and speed of this computer. It helps that he communicates with my other Apple products.

I purchased this MacBook because I am returning to get my PhD. I wanted a computer that was reliable, user friendly and one that I wouldn’t need to upgrade....at least not for a few years. This a a great computer and perfect for school use!

I am so happy with the purchase of my MacBook Pro w/Retina. I've had my MacBook for a month now and its been amazing. This is my first MacBook, I do have an Apple iPhone, Watch & iPad so being able to have everything sync is truly amazing & helpful. I've always had a PC, & now with my MacBook I can honestly say that I can not go back to a PC. I tried using my old PC & I couldn't deal using it, it was so much slower and lagged than I remembered, which before I got my MacBook that was not a problem, but now that I have experience how fast my MacBook I can tell the difference of my PC. The Retina display is amazing, the keyboard feels great as you type. The trackpad is amazing as well, it has so many gestures and you don't hear a clicking sound when you press (a option you can turn on/off). The only thing I regret is not getting more storage, I have the base, 128GB, but I am a college student and brought this myself so I couldn't pay anymore than what I paid for this one. I got it during Black Friday and BB had an offer of 200$ off, which I took advantage. Get this MacBook, you won't be disappointed, and it has every port you need!!

This is my 3rd macbook Pro and I can't say enough about them. My 2009 mbp is still running strong and no issues. I bought this new mbp for the retina display and multiple thunderbolt ports. This is the best computer I have owned yet!Great performance and features!

I've only had Windows computers before but loved my first iPhone so much I took a chance on this Apple MacBook Pro. Although it was more expensive it's worth it: so much easier to use, great graphics and so lightweight. Would buy another Apple when it's time!

Bought this for my sons Hs graduation, off to college this summer and needed to replace his 10 yr old MBPro. This is so much lighter, faster & sleeker. Very happy, also bought Best Buy 2 yr warranty, better coverage than Applecare & can renew it before it expires.

My wife and I both love this MacBook! Best Computer purchase we have ever made! It runs really fast and extremely smooth. Once you get used to using this over non-Apple products, it becomes very simple. Picture is crystal clear, the battery charges superfast and it loads lightning quick. We have spent thousands of dollars over the past 10 years on computers and laptops to have them all fail, everyone we spoke to told us to just pay the price for the MacBook and it will last forever. We decided to finally take their advice and we couldn't be happier.

Can't go wrong with the new model , It is very fast & has a retina display that makes videos and graphics look incredible. This is perfect for a college student.

I had a Windows 8 touchscreen i5 laptop to start college. It lasted a little over a year before it started to get firmware issues and hardware issues. Rather than sink money into fixing the computer, I decided to buy a MacBook. I had wanted one ever since I started college and finally decided to bite the bullet (the insane amount of miles I got from buying it helped too). It complements my Mac Mini quite well, and works seamlessly with handoff for iPhone and iPad. It features a rock solid construction, long battery life, dimmable backlit keyboard, and cool force touch trackpad. All of the software works seamlessly and beautifully. Many of my favorite iPhone apps are on my Mac too! My brother's MacBook from college (in 2001) lasted him over 10 years, and while I don't expect to see that long of a service life, I do expect for this to be my primary laptop for quite a few years to come.
