It's one the best MacBook i had . I like the Retina display feature. The resolution makes the picture and video quality really perfect.

Looking for a basic laptop for my daughter to go off to college but found this one!! The picture is so nice she loves watching movies on it!!!

Real light and it does a great job with every tasks I need. Fast loading too and charges battery fast that literally lasts me more than a day.

I love everything about it! wish it was able to handle a little more gaming but I didn't expect that from this anyway.

I was at first ambivalent between the Macbook with a touch bar and the previous version. However, having had great experience with the non touch bar for past few years, I chose to stay with the old version. To be honest, I don't believe that the touch bar in a laptop is necessary, especially with only the top row being a touch screen. Maybe if the entire keyboard was touch screen, there may be significant difference in the usefullness, but for now I'm a firm believer of the fact that the previous model is better.

This replaced an old macbook air. I wanted a better screen and a faster processor and this was on sale! The screen has so much resolution, you can switch between 4 "virtual resolutions" depending on what you are working on. The i5 processor is fast enough for software development so I'm happy with that as well.

The MacBook Pro has a beautiful display. A new learning curve from years of PC use.
