    I compared the macbook pro with the macbook air. For the money, the macbook pro with retina display was better choice. I've downsized from a 17" screen laptop, and don't have a problem at all. The 128mb solid state drive is fantastic and quiet. The 8gb of memory is fast enough to realize too late when you did something you didn't want to do. 8-) Overall, very satisfied with the purchase.
