It's incredible to be able to have that much power in your lap. I'm able to write and edit (FCPX) with ease and the Retina display is phenomenal.

This is my second, first one was stolen! I bought exactly the same thing because I loved it so much. Fast, quiet, and the battery lasts forever.

Will never go back to a pc. The screen is amazing and this Mac is so simple to use. I love how it links right up to my phone and the Apple TV.

Bought this Macbook Pro for my son who will be starting high school. The Macbook is light weight and just the right size for him to carry around.

Bought this computer for my daughter who is already used to using Mac's in school. Set up was easy to do by following on screen instructions. We found the voice command confusing but don't want to use that anyway. Installed Office and went to using immediately. One small thing I like is the mouse pad isn't as sensitive as my Dell pad. With the Mac, you push gently and don't tap and you don't get annoying unintentional jumping around of the cursor. Expensive but I've heard from several people that their mac computers have lasted well over 5 years.

Long time PC user. Decided to take the plunge and go Apple. In store help was great for product detail and information. Agree with the online reviews that this is an excellent choice to go the Mac route. This puts my Lenovo PC Thinkpad Yoga S1 to shame! Right now, Apple is priced competitively against comparable PC machines. Suggest going into store and review for yourself to be absolutely sure about switching. There is a slight learning curve using OS. Apple telephone help or in store appointments are excellent to jump start your knowledge.

Clarity speed ease of use are all excellent qualities associated with this product. Although it is pricey, it comparable with other retailers.

Love the laptop and everything about it, very easy to use and will recommend to a friend for sure. Retina display is great for photo editing!

What can I say about the MacPro? It's fast and seamless to use. There is a learning curve for me, as I've always used Microsoft-based computers and programs, but am pretty good at figuring things out, and if I can't, I Google it or get an instruction manual. I got this on sale, and while it is more expensive than most brands, I think it's worth it.

Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend, she loves it. It's fast and light! We are a photographer team so Photoshop & Lightroom run smoothly!

I recently purchased the newest (2015) MacBookPro with Retina Display. The Retina display is better than I imagined. It is as sharp, clear and colorful as my new LG Curve TV. My older MacBookPro was running very slow and was only 4-5 yrs old. My frustrations are gone with this newer version. I still have a ways to go to learn all of it's capabilities... but I'm very impressed & excited. I highly recommend to anyone to upgrade to the Retina display... or if not a Mac user... Switch to the Mac w/ Retina display. You won't regret it.

The latest MBP with new pad for controlling, which is nice to handle. I love the screen as well. Speed is awesome. Most important, nice price!

This laptop has incredible battery life (10 hours of USE) and an even more incredible display. Perfect for editing photos and everyday use.

Apple is always more expensive than competitors , but if you are looking for a long term computer that is very solid, immune to virus attack with a good protection program plus excellent support, then this is your machine. Works fast and the images are incredible . Downside to Apple products are if you are trying to use with DoD applications which all are windows based then you will need additional interfacing programs like parallels or vm fusion and a good tech to install . Smart cards can be tricky as well compared to windows systems

Best Mac ever. It's quick and screen display is excellent. It's light and so easy to setup n use.

If you are a working musician, graphic artist, animator, photographer, Macs are a must have. Great processing power, a slew of amazing apps, and a hard disk that doesn't fragment over time, Macs are simply powerhouses of technology. If you need a machine that can handle recording software or illustrator/photoshop or video editing software, you should be in the market for a mac. Don't wait around, improve your workflow today!

I would give this laptop 10 stars if I could!!! My husband got this laptop for me and I am in LOVE with it! I had the 2014 mid version before this new one and the comparison to the new 2015 version is huge! the new force touch tracpad is amazing!! doesn't stick anymore and feels great the typing! runs faster... smoother ... just an amazing laptop and I would recommend this to anyone who has the older versions of this laptop!

I got a great deal on this machine and it is everything I wanted and needed for the book I am writing. The smaller sized internal storage is no problem since there are so many external drive solutions available. This computer has an awesome display and incredible performance.

This is my first Mac and I'll never go back! So sleek and user friendly. I haven't had any problems using the same hardware I used for my PC.
