Great screen graphics, response time, and ease of use (once you learn the differences of the operating system and how to navigate after transitioning from a PC). Would like to have more storage, but otherwise very pleased with this laptop.

I got this computer for my girlfriend for her birthday to go back to school with. It was a steal of a deal when using the sale price plus education discount. Even if you are a windows person the solid state hard drive and retina display alone are reason enough to run both operating systems on this machine. But this computer also allows syncing of almost every tech device possible from phones to TV. I would always highly recommend apple products, especially the mac for any college student. It will definitely enhance the experience.

I origonally bought this computer for personal use, it was just by chance that I ended up using it for work as well. I was a Dell user, and have been for many years...until now. ( Granted, I have not had a working computer for the past 6 years). This laptop is amazing! It takes some getting used to if you are not used to working with a MAC, but trust me, I will be forever a MAC user from now on. I love how light it is, and travels better than I would have expected. I don't have to worry about closing my computer to catch my flight, mid-spreadsheet, and worrying about whether I saved everything before I rushed off. Its easy to use, has an awesome camera, and is very fun to use. I am probably the last person that should own a MAC since I will probably never figure out the true capability, but I needed a dependable computer that would last me a solid 5 years without cashing. I think have found the winner!! I don't have to worry about viruses or crashing like I did my Dell's. I know almost nothing about computers, so my review may not mean much to most people. However, I would recommend this computer to everyone. It's great for tech people, as well as people like me who just needed it for email, excel, and word.

Since the age of twelve I used windows pc. I was initially so anxious about the switch and put it off as long as I could. When looking for a new laptop for the business I decided to take a friends advice and try this mac book pro. Wow. This mac just does what it is supposed to do when it is supposed to do it. My paperwork productivity was doubled. Needed a better invoice writer. Done! I am sorry I did not switch sooner.

This is the first Mac we have bought even though we use iPhones and iPads and even iPods for the kids. We have been PC users since the beginning of time and have been reluctant to change. However, after too much pain and suffering for our last 2 PC based laptops...we finally made the plunge to the MacBook Pro and are in love with it. It works...every time! quicks start up. quick shut down. excellent connectivity to our wi-fi and did I say already...it works...every time! Not likely that we will be go back to PC based systems and after learning how to use a few things that have been different, have found great value in this laptop.

I wanted a computer that I could transport easily but that would also be a workhorse for my daily work needs and I got it. Love my new Mac!

The display is awesome, extremely fast processing and it syncs with all my other Apple devices!

This laptop was purchased for someone that needed a laptop for her classes. It starts up quick, reliable and the screen is crisp clear.

I had never purchased an apple product before the mac pro, and I was skeptical about doing so. I have had the pro for more than a month now and I LOVE IT! I definitely do not plan on going back to windows. The pro allows efficiency, it looks great, and it is fast. I allows many things such as multiple service at one time, great for video editing, great camera, and overall amazing. I most definitely recommend it!

Purchased this to replace my precious mac book pro i had purchased back in 2012. The screen resolution as well as the weight of Mac Book over the previous model is great. My only issue is that the Mac get's hot pretty quickly and the battery life during standby is subpar . Overall, it is a great product.

This Mac is absolutely stunning. Love it!!! Very thin and super fast. It was the best investment done. Great college present for my son.

My son started college and was trying to convince me to get him the Surface for school. I kept telling him to at least look at the MacBooks. So of course we went to Best Buy and he tried many different laptops and tablets. Ultimately he decided in the new MacBook with retina. He could not be happier. I asked him again just a week ago and he said he loves it! I love my iPads, but I have to admit I was a little jealous!

I had fully planned to get a MacBook Air as my light-weight "retirement" notebook computer, but when I reviewed all the features of the Pro--especially the magnetic power cord, which I have ALWAYS liked--I just couldn't resist getting another Pro. The 13" complements my iMac very well and travels great. It's like a super-full-featured iPad with an attached keyboard size-wise, but has so much more capability. The unit I bought was on sale during Christmas because it was an early 2015 model, which was fine with me.

This has been the best laptop I have owned yet! The retina screen is impeccable, the battery, even in sleep mode, goes on for days!

This is a fantastic laptop for college students! It is slim as well as durable which is a major plus. Its extremely fast and portable.

This was an upgrade of my last iMac from 2008. Beautiful screen and definitely faster. Recommend the fusion solid state drive add on.

This was purchased for my grandmother. She is still getting the hang of it. I set it up for her. From the time that I spent with it, I enjoyed it. Very nice display. Nice design. Seemed fast enough. I'd recommend it. Pretty affordable as far as Mac's are concerned.
