You cannot go wrong with a MacBook Pro.

I have been using a Mac for seven years and purchase one for my daughter and a third for my grand daughter. Unlike other laptops we have never gotten a virus. its very user friendly and in case you want quick info, just go to your spotlight search and POW.

I like this so much I bought it twice

The only downside is hooking it up to dual monitors, as Apple hubs are incredibly over priced. I used a startech model to hook everything up. *I did not anticipate buying this twice, the first one was stolen and I replaced it with the same model.

I love Apple products

It very suitable for my needs as a casual photographer; while doing photo editing through Adobe Light Room. It's just as compact as the MacBook Air and the new 12" MacBook, but not as thin and light. However, it's the most powerful.

Good reliable Mac
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I murdered my old MacBook Pro by spilling a drink on the keyboard and it was totally fried, so into Best Buy I go for a replacement. Have had this new model a month or so now and it's servicing me well. Intuitive, quick and up to Mac standards in every regard. Only complaint I have is that this new model no longer includes a DVD drive or an HDMI port. Have to buy external products for those functions which were standard on my old Pro. Also that my old power cord no longer works on new unit. Curse Apple for nickel and diming us for these items whenever a new product is released. For those reasons I only give it 4 stars.

For the go to apple person

I have been an apple iPhone user for 6 years now and couldn't see myself using anything different... BUT if you are not a diehard apple fan this expensive laptop can be very frustrating and underwhelming to some people. You are paying top dollar for the apple logo not necessarily the quality.. Don't get me wrong I like it.. But for the price I think the Microsoft would have made me just as happy. It's just a personal preference that I went with apple I guess.
