Battery life and screen are what drew me to this. Felt like this was similar to the newer model enough that the cost savings was worth it for me.

I'm not a fan of apple products, but after having this laptop I became an true believer. Even with the minimal spec I'm happy with my investment

I had a HP Beats laptop during my undergrad but decided to upgrade to a MacBook for my graduates degree. I'm IN LOVE with my laptop! My favorite feature is that I can highlight my readings and MacBook will read it to me hahah oh my god I love living in the twenty first century.

Great family laptop with assets for everyone of the family members. Great for the students, profesional husband and multi media entertainment users.

I went with this laptop over the newer model because of HDMI and USB and SD card input being built in. I had the newer one for work and was always having to pull out the dongle to do things that should be built in.

I was a huge windows person (growing up with it at work), Much to my chagrin my 2 children purchased MacBooks for College. I saw the ease and decided to make the switch at home and I love. It is so reliable and user-friendly that I would recommend to anyone!

I purchased this machine for my daughter who is off to her freshman year in college this fall. She loves it. It meets all the requirements she'll have for school. Flawless machine out of the box. Was in stock at the store. Great support at the store to help with which model to choose.

The product is a great piece of machinery. My unit, however, has an issue with it's caps lock keys which makes typing incredibly frustrating. BestBuy will not exchange the product if it is more than 14 days beyond the purchase date, something which I find extremely absurd for exchanging defective products for another newer ones, especially the ones that are critical for some people and who cannot afford the cost of living without a laptop or buy a replacement for the time it takes to repair the defect. Disappointed with BestBuy's policy.

People rave over these devices, but I'm not a loyalist. These devices still don't come with touchscreen, a good quantity of internal memory, or a number pad to the right of the keyboard (even on the wireless keyboard). Great if you have an iPhone because your calls and messages come through here. If youre in the market for a Mac, Apple doesn't offer any loyalty programs, so Best Buy at least makes the purchase worth your while by giving Rewards Points.

After being I die hard apple consumer I decided to switch to Samsung phones and considered getting a Microsoft surface pro, but after a bunch of research you just can go any other way then Apple, especially if you use video/photo editing software or any other type of media

Love the speed signing online. But still trying to get to know this laptop. Not user friendly so far. Might be once I get familiarize. Picture quality is good but still need to learn to navigate.

My wife uses it for work and loves it. Decently much faster than her older one but we do miss some of the features like the ability to view disk.

I bought this computer for my daughter's first year of college and she loves it. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend the danvers store in ma. Also has been very helpful with her classes and homework. Thank you so much sincerely Anthony martin.

I am absolutly in love with this laptop. Say what you want about Mac.. You CAN NOT beat their customer service (this alone is worth the purchase!!) I have not purchased a laptop in a while. Bought a windows 10 machine and took it back the next day and walked out with this.

Love it! It was definitely a learning experience for me as I have been a Windows user forever but I can say that since I have changed over I will never go back! I absolutely love it! Great resolution and the fact that it links to my iPad and iPhone are Naut wonderful benefits!

This computer is used for only school work and business work. It gets the jobs done and the battery life is great on it. I would highly recommend this product to my friends and family... The camera is amazing and very clear and the modem is very fast! My favorite purchase this year!

Great product. Fast, complete but too complicated for an old man. Used windows all my life and just could not get with it to make a change.

This is my first Mac purchase. I had been been looking to buy one for some time, but once I saw a great deal on Best Buy, I decided to buy this MacBook Pro. Since I've used PC my entire life, it's been a learning experience, but I can definitely say that Macs are great!!!

My wife's old laptop was a windows based device that didn't do well after the upgrade to Windows 10. She saw the grandkids all playing with IPads and Macs and said it was time to join them and has been very happy since.

What can I say? It's an Apple and all I know so there was no other choice. I am disappointed that I had to buy an external dvd drive and suppose I should be disappointed that my last Apple laptop didn't last three years, but that is why ibought the extended warranty this time.
