this is my first Mac product, and quite frankly i'm not sure why i didn't do it earlier. i have an iPad and an iPhone, so it only made since to switch from an HP that had numerous problems to a Mac so that all my devices could sync together. i absolutely love the clarity of the retina display feature. They say it is difficult to switch from a windows computer to the OS system, but i didn't find it hard at all. i have no complaints about this computer, if you are looking for a Mac this is the one to buy!

Love the display and light weight of the new Mac book pro, I upgraded from an older version Mac book pro which was very heavy.

I got this laptop at a very good price for my daughter and she is happy with it, faster than her old Mac Pro and lighter too.

I've always been a PC user, but have always had problems with viruses and just malfunctions with the computers in general. After my Lenovo stopped working, I figured it was time for a change. This Mac was 100% worth the money. It's extremely fast and easy to use. The display looks better than any other computer I've used.

I've been using Macbooks since 09 and I love this one. The display is beautiful, and it's very lightweight. You don't even miss the CDRom drive. Very happy I upgraded. My only complaint is an issue with the caps on my keyboard, but Best Buy was great about swapping out the computer for me.

This laptop has a fast processor, as well as handles everything I would need it to for basic use with ease. Looks sleek too!

Excellent laptop. Fast and serves my needs. One downside is not a lot of storage, which is certainly needed for iTunes files.

They are both quite fast,and awfully light to carry.We love them both,fantastic products!The Surface,and MacBook Pro Great!!

macbook is far the best laptop for those looking to buy one when going back to school, fast processor and easy to carry around.

I've been a lifelong PC user and finally tried a Mac. This is by far the best laptop I've ever used. It starts up immediately when opening it up. It's super smoother when performing all functions. Its also amazingly fast. Its a little pricey but i except to be using this for several years. So to me, its worth it.

We own an older MacBook Pro so I bought this one for my husband as a Christmas gift. It is fast and has a beautiful display.

I had the older macbook before this version & alot has changed. +No CD drive (who uses it nowadays since everything is digital) +Hard drive space smaller than the basic 500 gb but that can be fixed with an external. +Multiple applications could open at the same time. +ALOT lighter Overall, I would definitely recommend

I'm an engineering student and although I'm very much a Microsoft user, this little mac has made a profound impression on me. Just about every laptop I've every owned was a Dell Latitude series and to this day, I still swear by them. However, after many of the newly implemented update schemes and consumer oriented designs, the Windows OS is beginning to feel more like a mobile device OS rather than a productivity driven OS. I've never owned a Macbook Pro prior to this one and am still learning quite a few details about how the operating system works, but I'm very satisfied with my purchase thus far. The build quality is superior (definitely comparable to the Dell Latitude Enterprise systems I've owned for years) and the OS is very intuitive. Certainly don't expect super-computer performance from this laptop, but it does pull it's weight very well. If your a customer who is looking for a mobile computing platform that is well built, durable, provides excellent performance and battery life, and is very easy to use, this is definitely the "daily driver" laptop for you!

Big improvement over my old one: fast, beautiful visual, it's thiner, lighter, and has some improved functions. A great laptop !

I had a McBook Air before the Pro and although I loved the Air the display and speed of the pro are an indisputable advantage.

This laptop is extremely portable with a fast startup and long-lasting battery. Great for my amateur music recording needs!

I was using windows laptops for many years but after i buy this mac, it feels so different. Lightweight for traveler, perfect screen resolution and graphics quality, 10 hrs of battery life....it's amazing. it would be perfect if they have higher storage capacity in the same cost though.

This is my first Mac and I'm happy so far. It feels and performs very well and it is a lot of fun to learn on a new system.
