The MacBook feels great and durable. It is very fast and provides beautiful retina HD displays. The best laptop I've had.

At first I was a little concerned that it would be heavier than what I wanted but I soon found out that it was perfect. It really is powerful and easy to carry around. I was able to load my Linux VM with no problem while still surfing the internet. The main reason I bought it was for day to day use and for Grad school.

First mac laptop in 12 years. Chose this over the macbook air. Great performance and great retina displa. Higley recommended.

The new screen is amazing. I replaced my Air with this pro, it is a bit thicker but the speed and resolution make up for it.

The retina display is great and the laptop functions wonderful. Can handle a designer's heavy workload in creative suite.

This is only my second computer since 2008. I owned a macbook previously and would never buy anything else. I have never had any issue with them. I have never had a virus or any problem that I needed to seek service for. If you want a computer that you will get at least 5 years out of buy a mac. The OS is intuitive. The design is attractive. It is a great computer that is worth the pricetag.

This compact laptop is awesome. It is both fast and efficient. The sound and screen quality were above my expectations.

Bought this MacBook Pro to replace my old windows laptop running vista. Thing had turned into a slug and wasn't worth upgrading. Thing ran so hot I don't think the fan ever shut off!! My brother recommended to spend the extra $$ and get the MacBook Pro. Love this machine!! The display is awesome as is the build quality. Little bit of a learning curve from a Windows machine but not bad. Bought it during one of those 4hr flash sales so I got a good price. Very happy with my purchase!!

I have never had a Mac laptop before, but love my new MacBook. It takes some getting used to since I have always used a PC, but it is great once I learned how to fully utilize it. Battery life is better than any PC I've used and it's fast. I also like the retina display. I highly recommend this MacBook Pro!

Bought this for my wife after having trouble with the last two windows based laptops. So far it has been great. The screen resolution is very good. The startup is fast but not as fast as I expected from a macbook pro. Startup is comparable to her Asus zenbook. Hopefully it lasts longer than the Asus which the screen died after a year. My wife really likes that it is small enough to fit in her larger purse so she can take it to work. The stock apple programs are easy to use. I think my wife has converted to an Apple user. I am still up in the air. Windows 10 has some nice features but I do like the apple scripts and automator programs that come installed on the mac. It certainly feels better in quality than her similarly priced zenbook. Hopefully it lasts.

My last MacBook was a Late 2008 Unibody 13. That laptop ran perfectly for me for 6 years, and I was not kind to it physically. I dabble in all kinds of tech (IOS and Android, Windows and Mac) and this 2015 MBP is the best tech product I have ever owned. I typically have about 5 apps open and switch between streaming media, writing, browsing, and other general usage tasks and this computer handles it all beautifully. Aside from performing like a champion, no other computer has a trackpad that can match the multi-gesture pad on modern MacBooks, both in feel and responsiveness. I don't do video editing or write code on this, it is a swiss army knife machine for me, and it does that job perfectly. If you are on the fence, just buy the thing, it's worth it (Macs can be overpriced, but they offer unparalleled convenience). The screen is gorgeous (and entirely adjustable), speakers are surprisingly good, and this particular model has all the legacy ports needed to connect to modern peripherals. Battery life is also excellent. I am very happy with the purchase.

The computer is solid. Fast start up, built in virus protection, decent apps. BUT THERES NO MEMORY! YOURE PAYING FOR A NAME. MY IPOD CLASSIC LITERALLY HAS MORE MEMORY THAN THIS COMPUTER. Overall, it's decent for what I use it for which isn't a lot. I'd compare it to a netbook, something to surf the web, take notes for class, but this wouldn't be my main computer. Again, the price is in the name and there are a ton of other computers that are just as good if not better. Just consider what you're paying for: reliability with less memory or more memory with less reliability...? (Sportscenter jingle)
