My fiance needed to upgrade his older MAC and he absolutely loves this laptop. Very fast and great display!

I bought my MacBook Pro 3 years ago and it is still running like new. It is fast, easy to operate, the retina screen is amazing and viruses are nonexistent. My last HP laptop died in about 3 years, thus I will never buy a PC again!

Bought this for my nephew who is at the university. He now has an iPhone, iPad Mini and this Mac Pro. With the ability to sync his devices he takes the iPad to class then can move his notes to the Pro. Also, I have the same devices and though has taken a bit to get used to the differences between Windows and Apple well worth it, hate Windows 8 and glad to be done.

This is a great laptop. I love that it's so light weight and easy to use. Can't go wrong with this purchase.

It is light and very easy to use. I had always used a Dell and did not have any problems switching to the MAC.

I bought this when it was on sale and save $250. Decided to go with this generation because it has a larger battery capacity than the newest gen MBP. Screen is beautiful and everything is easy to use and works great. This is my first Mac converting from Windows and I do not regret it.

The wife wanted an apple computer, me being an avid pc user I tried to convince her to get a pc to save money but it didnt work. Before she seemed satisfied with the purchase but later she wanted to return it but our 15 day return policy passed so we couldn't. I could get a better spec computer for $700-800 on a good sale, I would get a computer that has an actual GPU built inside while still sporting a high resolution screen. You wont find a great computer on display that isnt apple at best buy though. They all seem to lack an ssd the ones i saw on display at my local best buy they came with a 1tb hdd. So to get a good performing computer you need to switch the hard drive for an solid state drive. Its the biggest bottleneck in computers these days. Pros Seems like the best choice amongst all the apple stuff. Stronger processor than the rest of the apple line up. i5-5257U. Good built in Apu. Apple brand Cons OverPriced, apple computers are over priced but this macbook pro seemed like the better deal since the macbook air was already 999$+

I previously owned a 2010 MacBook pro and kept switching the idea of getting the newer model. Its lighter, looks better and is quicker. Although i do admit that there isnt too much of a difference between the last model but its been a while for me and im glad i pulled the trigger. 5 Stars.

Light and enough power for my work. Have not had any issue with the unit so far. Easy to use and don't need to fuss with drivers to get peripherals to work. So I am spending my time doing work and not troubleshooting hardware-software compatibility issues.

It is just the perfect size of computer to take any where, the futures are great with the retina display!

I lost my MacBook from 2007 a couple weeks ago (Unlike my 3 year old top of the line Sony laptop, it was still running like a champ! I dropped it the first year I owned it and had to get the screen replaced, and I replaced the original battery last year, but other than that I had no issues in 8 years and I'm a Software Engineer who uses my computers A LOT) I wanted to replace it with something portable, so I went to the store to test out the 11 and 13 inch MacBook Airs. I was planning on upgrading the RAM and processor, which would have to be done through Apple and take a few weeks to be delivered. I am so glad I saw the 13 inch MacBook Pro! It is not much heavier than the 13 inch MacBook Air, but the base MacBook Pro model is more powerful than the upgraded MacBook Air and actually turned out to be cheaper! There are a few things in particular that I love about this model that my old laptop did not have. First, the awesome new trackpad: you can click anywhere on the trackpad with minimal force, it feels very natural similar to using a touchscreen device. I haven't used the new force click much, but I'm sure I will once I get used to it. I also really love the fact that this laptop has a built in HDMI port, with other Macs I've owned I've had to use a Mini DisplayPort adapter.

This compact and stylish machine is awesome bang for the buck and so easy to use, with so much potential!

Only reason for the 4 star is that the 128 is not a good choice for me. Took it back for the 256 GB. If you plan on installing a few programs, storing photos/videos from the iPhone on your laptop instead of in the cloud, you need at least a 256. The 128 will fill up too fast. This is probably why the 8/128GB configuration is on significant sale.

Love the computer. It looks great and works good. Would recommend.
