This is a great laptop. Way more than what I needed, but I was tired of having to fix or replace my cheaper laptop over and over.

Great buy, great deal at Best Buy. Had good advise at the store. First wanted to go for the 12" macbook but glad I chose the pro retina

We bought this for our son who just entered high school. Glad we went with the Macbook. It's very intuitive and easy for him to use.

This is my first Apple computer, after using Windows machines since 1996 (have owned an iPad and several iPods over the years.) I once believed the hype that Apple computers were overpriced, but after some research I came to the conclusion that in the case of mainstream laptops, this is definitely not true. Spec for spec the Macbook Pro 13 is top notch at this price level. Startup is quickest of all the laptops I looked at and the Retina screen is beautiful. If you don't need a touch screen or a laptop/tablet hybrid, this is the laptop to get. Also the battery life is tremendous. Lasts longer than the specs say. I used it for 4 hours at least, and the battery was still above 70%. My last laptop, a $700 Toshiba I bought late last year would have been dead after 3 1/2 hours! Coming from Windows 8.1 to Mac OS X, is something of a culture shock, and I would recommend buying a manual (such as the "Switching to the Mac" from the Missing Manuals series) to anyone switching.

We had thought about the MacBook but never pulled the trigger, Best Buy had a sale. We bought it and will NEVER go back to a PC.

Computer was easy to navigate and has tons of cool features I didn't even know about. Good for students. Screen resolution is great.

I love my new MacBook. I had to get another laptop because my old PC will not connect wirelessly to wifi and operates terribly slow.

Basic laptop but it is an Apple. Solid state hardrive should come with all laptops. Good build quality i plan on keeping for a while

This is a replacement laptop for one that is Windows based. I love everything Apple. It is easy to use, and well it is an Apple.

This MacBook Pro does everything that you think it would plus more! Only thing is the battery life could be better! Good job apple

This is my first Apple computer. I will never switch back to windows. Apple is very user friendly and compatible with most programs.

Apple is the leader hands down in technology and the Mac Book Pro is all you will ever need

legacy macbook has all the bells and whistles with none of the hassle of what apple thinks is the future that isn't here yet....

I just upgraded from a super old Lenovo and this computer is great. Its easy and the visuals are amazing. Glad I switched to Apple.

we bought this instantly at the store but i wish the salesman told us this was a 2015 model and that the 2017 was only $100.00 more but i only doscovered when i got home to customize the laptop and did some research online. i'm still happy with it but just wished it was the latest model.
