College for our son and we wanted a device that was flexible in terms of capabilities. I shopped all products and found the computer that would assist him the most. We also purchased the university office subscription and a portable storage. All of the items were recommended by our IT friend

I am very tough on my devices and I travel a lot for work. This macbook is sturdy and does exactly what I need it to for work.

this replaced my 2006 mac book. They may cost more but last a long time with no trouble.

It does not come with a word program like microsoft laptops,it must be purchased separately. But other than that..seems good

Great computer for streaming content! I am glad I chose this model because I use the HDMI ports and USB ports a lot too!

Should've gone for the 15" model instead of this. I use final cut pro and softwares that are hard on the laptop like photoshop or lightroom frequently. But this can barely take the toll. The macbook even freezes when I use Safari for a couple of hours straight, which is quite unprecedented.

I've never regretted switching to a Mac many years ago. Never again will I have to buy Virus Protection software annually!

i knew it is older version of macbook however i am just a light user so it still perfect for me. not a gamer or graphic er

What is not to like? Its an Apple product, so you know it is well made and easy to use.
