It's worth it you'll fall in love with the display and the quickness the Mac has to offer !

Purchased this laptop for my son entering college. Chose this model Macbook Pro over the latest version due to the connection options (HDMI, lightning, USB, etc.). After discussing with the BestBuy associate, this version has the same "guts" as the newer version, just a little different body/color and not the same trackpad. They both have retina displays. The key for me was the newer model only has two lightening connectors. To connect anything (jump drive, external drive, to TV via HDMI, etc.) you would need to buy an adapter. This is an additional cost and my son would have to keep up with the adapters. Not a good scenario. Also the same pain in the you know what Apple is making us deal with on the new iPhone since taking away the audio jack. Really wish Apple would think better, but I digress. The computer is terrific! My son loves it and it functions perfectly for him.

The mac computer is simple for me to use. The size is perfect. I love that the keys light up!

This mac is amazing, the screen resolution is great and is perfect if your looking for a non-heavy computer on the go, is worth the money because you're getting what you pay for, first i bought the new surface pro 4 but it froze many times and the battery life is just horrible. i bought my iMac before christmas on especial for 1,099 and got an extra discount. 100% recommended and best buy is the best with deals!

I bought this macbook because i was so unhappy with windows. I wanted to try a different operating system and get a reliable computer to use for years to come. I love my macbook. Its like going back to a time when computers were just trying to be computers instead of tablets and social media platforms and whatever else is intergrated forcefully with a windows operating system. Definately recommend the investment.

I was searching for an upgrade from the MacBook Air and found this was the perfect laptop. The Retina display is amazing and the backlit keyboard is beautiful. This laptop is heavier than the Air but definitely worth the money. Will definitely continue purchasing Apple products.

I absolutely love this computer. It is fast and very dependable. The new force touch is awesome. This is my first MacBook Pro and I'm completely in love. Within minutes of unpackaging this computer I was surfing th web. Simplicity at its finest!! Well done Apple, well done......

This is a great laptop. I own an IPad and an iPhone, but I never thought of getting an Apple Mac until I was fed up with all the negative experiences with other name brand laptops. This Mac Pro was like "welcome home". I love it.

Been looking to purchase the Macbook Pro Retina for awhile now. Best Buy had the best deal.

I bought this computer for my wife after her windows laptop became to frustrating to use due to its lack of dependability. My wife uses her MacBook Pro everyday for multiple hours during the school year and it has yet to let her down. Even though this MacBook Pro only has 128gb of storage I recommend it because the 8gb of RAM makes this computer very fast. If more storage is needed I would buy a simple flash drive.

Overall great computer I use it for school + on the go. Pro: light + hold heavy work load.

Bought this for all around family computer. Use for web surfing, word processing and photos. This is my first Mac since 1995. I have had luck with Dell and I had an HP laptop that lasted me 6 years. I bought a new HP laptop for around $600 to replace that HP and ended up returning because Windows 10 was super slow and the web browser was unusable. Our sales person at BB ran through all of the pro & cons of Mac -vs- PC and we ended up with a Mac Book Pro. There is a slight learning curve when going from PC to Mac and we have had some minor frustration. The performance of this Mac Book is amazing compared to what we have previously had. The computer is lightning fast for every function, and the resolution of the screen is awesome. The battery life is very impressive. We get a good 4 or 5 days out of a full charge After using this Mac Book, I am strongly considering making my next work computer a Mac Book. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend. I gave 4 stars due the premium price for this computer.

User friendly, compact style, ease of use and speed is uncomparable to Windows laptops.

Perfect size for at home or on the go. Not too heavy and easy to carry. Awesome display!

13.3" is compact and the images are very clear and bright due to Retina display. Reasonably fast than any other windows laptop but if you want more speed for any software programming other than home needs suggest you to go to higher end models which has 8 GB RAM.

Bought it a month ago. Quick and efficient. Lightweight. Does what it is supposed to do.

So far so good! Nice and fast also easy to figure out after all those years of Windows.
