I am in love with this Mac! So fast, sleek, smooth! The display is insane, the feel of the unit is awesome. I couldnt have asked for a better unit. Charges fast and holds a charge for ever. Best laptop I've ever owned and ive owned A LOT.

My MacBook has served all my needs an them some. It is much faster than my mini even with less memory. Its light weight, the display is crips and clear. I usually have it connected to a TV via the HDMI connection when I am home.

I purchased this to replace my 2012 MacBook Pro 15 inch because it was getting really slow and had other issues. I absolutely love the laptop. It's lightweight and perfect for school because it's so easy to bring to class. My only issue is the specs - they aren't bad but you're paying a lot for what you get. It's a SSD which is good but you could get a windows laptop for much cheaper. That being said, I am a Mac fan, and am willing to pay the extra money for the overall experience. I prefer the software and other aspects of the laptop over a PC. So in my opinion, it's worth it and I love it. I wouldn't recommend this model for gaming or video editing or anything too intense though cause I'm not sure if it could handle it.

After living with lower cost Windows PCs all my life I can't begin to describe how much I love this Mac. It runs so smoothly, and I'm not constantly having to restart it to make it work. My last PC lasted about 3 months before it started to become frustratingly slow and glitchy, requiring factory resets etc. So far so good on the mac. If I have problems ill update my review.

I have been looking at Apple computers for some time. My wife has owned one for many years, and I have owned and worked with them in the past. When my Surface Pro 4 battery died, I decided it was time to switch. My only issue with Apples has been the price relative to PCs. With the new MacBook Pro models released, I was happy to see the older models discounted. I could get the design, hardware and operating system I wanted without the steep price of the latest models. I like the fact that this older model still has the USB3 ports, firewire ports and SD card slot. I do not have to buy a separate adapter in order to use my old peripherals on my new computer. I might have liked to have more hard drive space, but with Google Drive and other cloud services, I really don't need it.

This computer moves fast . I've only had windows machines and I am amazed at how much better this operating system works. I use mine for school and I have no complaints . Already factor in the two year geek squad for 239 I believe because that is worth it. I contemplated getting a surface pro or something with windows 10 and similar specs but I am glad I choose a MacBook!

very nice with retina display. easy to carry. very helpful for our eyes.

Bought this for my daughter's first year at college. Lightweight, powerful. Didn't need the extra memory for photos or games, so we opted for the 128GB. Will eventually add an external disc drive. As always, the staff at BB was great.

This laptop is fast and light. An excellent step up from the MacBook Air

I used to be a PC person and used to think Apple was way too overpriced. Because I'm in a graphic design field I caved in and got a MacBook Pro retina and absolutely love it. I used to have an i7 core processor laptop but this MacBook is much faster and gets work done. Highly recommend it well worth the money, especially when you get 100 bucks off with the college deal

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a laptop that is going to run and have no issues. It is fast and reliable and can even handle some light gaming if you're into that. Good product. Kind of pricey would be my only downside.

This laptop is very light and easy to use while working at various locations - deck, couch, car, etc. The display is beautiful and extremely clear - much better than my last computer! Still getting used to being an Apple user.
