This laptop is very light and easy to use while working at various locations - deck, couch, car, etc. The display is beautiful and extremely clear - much better than my last computer! Still getting used to being an Apple user.

osx Yosemite is very user friendly, the pre installed programs, pages and numbers are perfect for writing papers or making spreadsheets/graphs etc. The computer has the obivous great build quality and the retina display is crisp and clear. Lastly, not having a thick bezel is great you get a 13 in screen in a smaller body. Definitely worth the price. (Former PC user)

I was as reluctant as any non-Apple user prior to my purchase of the MacBook Pro. This worry was all for not. I got the laptop home and opened within an hour. A short hour later I was telling my wife this is the best laptop I have ever owned. Functionality, user friendly navigation & excellence in performance are at 1000%. I will forever be a MacBook Pro consumer.

I am a first time Mac user and couldn't be happier with this purchase! It took a lot of time and debate when deciding when, what, and where to buy an Apple laptop, and I don't regret my decision. The laptop has a great display and I got a very good student discount through my .edu email account. I recommend buying in June or July to get the best deals on electronics.

This is the first Apple laptop that I have ever used and purchased. I was a little bit iffy at first because I do not really know how to use most of the problems associated with MacBook, however, I believe that the purchase was worth it. The laptop is very user friendly and sleek looking. Now I use everyday for most of the personal and professional activities.

The choice was between the surface pro and this one and I am glad I chose the Mac Pro. It has a long battery life and is able to perform all the tasks I need quickly. I am pleased with the size and the speed of the computer as well.

Apple has once again come out with a top notch MacBook Pro. Sleek appearance combined with functionality makes this great for people who are new to Macs or longtime Apple faithful. I own other Apple devices but this is my first laptop. Very easy to use and get used to. I would obviously recommend this to anyone with the funds to purchase the laptop they want.

I bought it for my high school daughter. She has been using MacBook in school for years. Instead of replacing a battery for her 3 year old HP laptop, she wanted a MacBook. She loves it. It has excellent resolution. It is thin and light. She can carry it to school in her backpack every day.

The MacBook Pro with retina display is a fantastic computer. The computer is snappy and responsive, the display is beautiful, and it just does what you want it to do. I have been a loyal mac user for the past 20 years, and I am not switching. This was actually a computer for a family member who is a first time computer user, and he is up and running with it.
