Recommend Samsung TV -but also recommend sound bar

I have always heard that apple products don't get viruses, WRONG! They certainly do, and quick too. Less than two weeks into owning this laptop it was infected! Take appropriate precautions and don't let any sales person say you don't need it.

I'm a Macbook fan but the cost of purchasing into the APPLE ecosystem is too great vs a better spec pc. Don't get me wrong...Macbook Pros are great machines but the cost got me there so I returned it for a much better optioned PC that cost the same.

If youre a PCer ya aint gona be able to sit down snd start working immediately. Once all the annoting required passwords are set then get ready to spend a lotof time finding what you need. Spmething ss simple as creating a word document is EXHAUSTING

Decent laptop wanted to get a windows laptop but Penn state strongly recommends getting and using a mac so $2000 later here we are, not a bad PC just super expensive for no reason, I wish I could have gotten a lager ssd for the price paid.

Had to return it. Salesmen (Apple not Best Buy) addicted me that all my video files would easily convert from Windows to Mac. It didn't. On the phone with Apple Care for 20 minutes. The only resolution was to return it and buy a Windows laptop.

We were choosing a MacBook for my granddaughter. She knew just what she wanted. We had a very well informed salesperson and he walked us through the purchase. She is very happy with the purchase and is now a MacBook owner for life. Thank you.

I was used to Microsoft but it keeps changing program and I need help to learn the new one often. So sales person recommended apple product. I have iPad and iPhone so I thought it'd be ok. I haven't figured it out how to navigate it yet.

I am giving this 3 stars had issue installing called tech support was told would get call back and was never called back. After researching issue got it corrected on my own. Average sound ok for the price point nothing special.

The laptop is great but I was told I was going to get a student discount which I never got. This was because the student discount offer was done and the sales rep didn't know that. He told me I'd get a credit of $150 but I didn't.

This was a great laptop until the screen coating started coming off recently. It looks very ugly now and have very distorted display. Hope apple provides some support to address the problem.

I bought this laptop four months ago and I have found three problems so far, all of which the kind of big problems that disturb my usage. 1. Can't change the system language. It's my first time to use a Mac OS system so I initially set Chinese as my system language to get familiar with the setting. But later when I wanted to change Chinese into English the system preference kept crashing and reporting errors. Then I brought my laptop to an Apple store and technicians in the Genius Bar had difficulty figuring out the exact reason. They finally did change the system language into English but not for all conditions. Instructions and reports on the log-in page of the laptop are still in Chinese. They told me I'd better reset my whole system and it may work to process this. 2. Unable to sign up for iCloud So I want to reset my software and before that I have to back up all my stuff in the laptop. I tried to sign up for an iCloud ID but the system failed to process and reports error every time. 3. Keyboard and track pad not functioning Recently I found both of my keyboard and track pad dead. It happened once that my track pad didn't work so I tried to use an external mouse and after I unplugged the USB my track pad recovered. But now even if I use an external keyboard and a mouse to "activate" the track pad and keyboard on the laptop, it doesn't work at all. I brought to the Apple store again and they told me there must be something wrong with the cable that connects the keyboard(the track pad is connected to the keyboard without directly accessing to the main hardware) to the hardware. It has only been four months and there are already so many problems of my laptop. I doubt if this laptop is a renewed model that was resold on Best Buy. I wonder if I could change a new one. I hope the customer service could respond to my situation as soon as possible (better less than 15 days) since it is a really unpleasant experience. Otherwise I would write to complain.

I have issues with logging in. I have to type in my password several times before it let me in. I've change passwords etc as recommended and I still have a hard time getting in. Other than that the product works fine.

I am not tech savvy and needed help figuring out how to transfer everything from my desktop to the laptop. Very little instructions included. I also feel Apple products are overpriced.

Computer is great, simple and easy but tends to bug out sometimes and freezes up and only way to fix it is restart it. Don't know if it's computer or the version of the operation system.

I had problem with my Initial purchased laptop and went to BestBuy store for an exchange and waited for around 90 Min. Wasted my MS Office license and BestBuy didn't responded on it.

tried it but it didnt get any more channels than what I currently have. it looks nicer than what i have but it recommends you put it near the window and somewhere high.

this is my first apple laptop and i am writing this review with my new macbook pro. i used to be a windows user for a long time but got tired of them breaking down and lagging on me. this macbook never lags, screen is gorgeous, and everything works great. i was hesitant on buying this but now that i have gotten to experience it i will never go back to windows. great and lightweight for college!

I had purchased this $2,000 laptop in cash, this laptop has been amazing i am able to connect it to my phone every message i get goes straight to the laptop its great.

I used to be a PC guy because windows was easy to manipulate. I got to a point where I just simply wanted a machine that never needed tweaking and that's when I started buying Apple products. It started 5 years with an iPhone. It was so impressive that I went on to accumulate an iPad, get an iPhone for my wife, and just bought an apple watch and this MacBook Pro. After using this laptop, I can't believe windows based laptops still exist. This thing is highly reliable, fast and extremely user friendly. The MacBook's user interface takes only a couple of hours to get familiar with and you're up and running. Apple gets the job done with no hassle whatsoever.
