its great laptop i use so far but dislike its expensive and its only 128 gb which is i can afford to buy..

theres always new updates and fun little quirks to find. slightly diffucult to figure out being a PC owner in the past but glad i made the switch

I'm a huge consumer tech nerd so when I got to buy a new laptop I'm always torn between all of the latest and greatest tech. I'm traditionally a Windows user but was strongly debating between a Dell XPS 13 and the new MacBook Pro. After a lot of back and forth I chose the Macbook for the more powerful processor, faster flash storage and beautiful screen. After using it for a week I can assure you that I made the right decision. The screen is gorgeous, the trackpad is extremely precise and a pleasure to use and the system runs buttery smooth. OS X takes a bit of getting used to but the whole experience is zippy and pleasant. As a side note - I do a bit of gaming on Steam. I loaded up Steam on my MacBook Pro and most of my purchases carried right over. Gaming with integrated graphics isn't stellar, but less demanding games run like a dream and even recent games like Bioshock Infinite run very well on medium settings.

Upgraded from the thicker Macbook Pro that we have owned for a couple of years. This newer Macbook Pro is about half the thickness, has a bit smaller form factor, but with a better screen. You really can tell the difference in the screens, although the non-retina screen is no slouch. Speed is better, as the Solid State Drive starts up quickly, and programs/commands respond in a snap. Only downside is the smaller hard drives in these models. Of course, you can get more memory, but it costs a lot to upgrade. For not a lot of coin, you can pick up an external portable drive, which seems to work just fine for my needs. Between my 2 TB portable drive, and my Dropbox account, I have not encountered any issues with having a 128Gb hard drive. At the sale price I got this thing, I just couldn't pass up the upgrades. Apple makes great computers, and OS X absolutely KILLS Windows, even Windows 10. Solid, and reliable operating system. Just a great computer. Compared this one to the the Macbook Air, and the specs of the Pro are just better in every way. Twice the RAM, much faster processors, and a better graphics card. Just a beefier computer! Spend the extra money on a Mac, you will not regret it.

I purchased this Macbook for my wife, to replace our previous Macbook Pro, purchased in 2008 (it's still operational, but a bit slower by today's standards).This model, so far, is lightening fast, lightweight, and features a screen that's crystal clear. She has no complaints. We expect it to last many, many years -- without question.

This was a good purchase but the promotion was that you get free beats with the purchase of a mac and I was not given my free beats

Had some trouble in the beginning but that's my lack of knowledge operating this device.

I found this particular model to have too slow a processor and it did not have adequate power or speed. I returned the device.

Works fine but lots of cosmetic issues I understand its open box but not much discount for the amount of use it had before

This laptop just screams premium. I am not really an apple fanboy but one product of apple that really stood out to me was the MBP. It feels great to type on, super fast, nice clean OS, great display. Speaker is also great and battery life is awesome too. Overall a really great laptop. Well worth the investment.

Good computer, good customer service, but wish they had better prices.

Got this for my daughter to replace an aging Dell laptop that she was never really happy with. School's are all Mac these days and she's getting ready to go to college, so this seemed to be the way to go. Amazingly thin and light, responsive with good battery life. Easy to set up and use.

Not that happy with it spent so much money for it and got one with a bad hard drive very diappointimg

They have a lot of audio tuning options, which is great. BUT I wasn't able to find a comfortable fit. Then I either lost the proprietary charging cable or my puppy found it, so once they had no charge are useless. I tried twice to contact Jaybird but other than the robo-response have not gotten any answer on how to get a new cable. (2+ weeks)

First time purchasing an open box item from best buy & i've already had problems with the product.

Laptop is great when working, but I have had some problems with my mouse pad not working.

Go a good MacBook Pro. It was really nice quality and I was happy about the warranty

The keyboard starts not working after a year, don't know the reason.

Prefer my IPad. Clumsy to use, especially scrolling! Few decent apps.
