My MacBook Pro just arrived in the mail today. I received the previous 500GB model as a christmas gift, and even though the storage was a huge plus, I could not get over the weight and thickness of it. Best Buy had a $200 off sale, so for the small price difference might as well get the new one. It's beautiful, light weight, trackpad is super comfortable to use, and overall easy set up. I have all Apple products, was just a little concerned about the change from a PC. Happy I did! Best Christmas gift ever! Thanks hubby :)

The laptop is great but I wish it was newer technology. I asked the associate that was helping me and he told it was the newer and best technology. This laptop came out two years ago and there's another model after this one.

Picked this up for my daughter just starting college. The unit is super light and fast, and since it's an Apple product....it just works right out of the box! The new retina screen is super clear, and the SSD boot drive helps the unit come to life immediately. This computer was a bit more expensive than other brands, but completely worth it for the performance and ease of use.

I was disappointed to see that display screen got worn out and some stains were formed on it and Best Buy geek squad also found it faulty with make. I did not expect this from THE apple Inc

I purchased my white uni-body MacBook 10 years ago, it has worked perfectly without a single issue except the battery died, which is expected in 10 years. To this day there is nothing wrong with it, it just can't handle the computing needs of today's technology such as GoPro video editing and I can't upgrade to any newer OSX, I am maxed out with snow leopard. After 10 solid years of service without any issues I was ready for an upgrade, a MacBook was the obvious choice. This computer is amazing, 8gb of RAM with a SSD! The retina screen is absolutely gorgeous. Only hesitation was the 128gb SSD, however I have a small 500gb portable drive and another 1TB drive connected to my AirPort Extreme so its really a non issue. I'm not sold on the 12" MacBook yet, it looks gorgeous and is easily portable but I don't want to have to carry an adapter to plug in a USB device, I am not completely wireless yet and l like it that way, can't give up peripherals and convenience like SDXC card reader and USB connection. The 12" MacBook is a high powered iPad with a nice keyboard. Unless your career requires the processing power of the 15" then this is a no brainer. Hands down the best deal on a laptop today for the average tech savvy person with gadgets such as a GoPro and is still old school and not ready to put everything in the iCloud. Hopefully this MacBook will last me another 10 years. I dare you to find a Dell or Lenovo laptop that will perform consistently for a decade without a single problem or virus issue. Buy it!

I was talked into a computer with way less hard drive then my old computer had. I can not easily transfer any data from my old computer to the new computer. Very frustrated. One good thing, had my free meeting with the Geek Squad and dealt with J. We discussed a few options for gaining access to my info. It will not be ideal, but at least I have some options. I should not have been sold this computer. I have to use external drives and/or clouds for just about everything. Best Buy may have lost my business over this.

I have never bought an Apple product besides an iPod because of the steeper prices. The laptop is sooooooooooo worth it! In 5 years I went through 2 hp laptops with both battery lives dying before a year. Luckily my 2nd one was under 1 year warranty but the hard drive failed and then something else fried so after 2 months of going round and round with their customer service I was issued a full refund. I am BEYOND happy I was talked into giving this MacBook Pro a shot. I have had it a week and have not had to charge it besides the initial charge. Because of the PCIe (SSD) it is silent and doesn't heat up like other laptops. The PCIe does not have moving parts like other hard drives so it is way less likely for something physical to happen. This is very appealing since both my hp laptops developed the "click of death." Talking to my tech guy, he suggested the 256gb, but I went with the 128g because it will be used more for research and a papers for education instead of photos, videos, and games. I love this laptop and plan on purchasing an iPhone when I am ready to upgrade my phone. Apple will be my "go to" brand from now on. Thank you!

I purchased this computer back in 2017-display is still like new, battery is still strong and expect this device to last a few more years. I believe this was also the last model they added usb slots.

I talked to a sales guy in the store and he was very helpful and knowledgable about the products. I told him i have pretty basic computer needs (streaming, research, paper writing) and he said it would hold up just fine. My ~2 yr old hp was having problems with over heating, the fan would run like crazy if i plugged it in or tried to do too much at once. A friend of mine actually had his hp overheat so much it melted some pretty important parts. He explained that this mac shouldnt have that problem bc of the intel duo core and the flash storage, and also that it should last a very long time bc of the lack of moving parts (in the flash storage). I just got it yesterday but i love it so far! Having an iphone helped me navigate things a bit bc it didnt seem entirely alien, so i got things set up super quick

Bought this macbook pro to replaced a pc laptop I had for about 3yrs.I DJ, so i needed a reliable and fast computer. So far this computer as been a pleasure to have. It's fast, reliable and very portable. Will be purchasing other Apple products in the future.

My macbook pro has the greatest battery life I have seen in any of my past or present devices! THe computer is really snappy and quick and the forcetouch ability is AMAZING!! I should have switched from my toshiba satellite to a mac a long time ago! The macbook pro is a dream that I hope I never wake up from!

At first I was contemplating whether I wanted an Macbook or a Windows computer, but after having two windows computers crash on me in the matter of three years, made me want to spend a little extra money and get a macbook. Ever since I bought it, my macbook has been very fast and has the amount of storage I need. 128gb is perfect for me, since I use google to back up my documents. This computer turns on fast, navigates the web fast, and does everything faster then my old windows computer did. The battery life is amazing.I got up to 14 hours on one charge. Its very portable, and the graphics are amazing. This was a great investment for me.

I love the features but it tends to freeze on me a lot. Gonna wait to see if it continues to do so .

This computer is reasonably priced, easy to use, easy to carry and very useful to me.

The MacBook Pro Retina (2015) is a wonderful machine. I couldn't be more pleased with its functionality, smoothness, and just overall beauty. From the outside, it just looks premium (as it should, for being $1300). Yosemite runs so well on this machine without any stuttering or flinching. I still can't believe that Apple has created such a perfect laptop. Okay, I'll stop gawking now.

Because this computer need to check many times because the keyboard was freezer like a 5or 6 times un a month

the macbook amazing and works great, on the other hand you have some of the shi**iest customer service. Not a single person in your Naples branch has a single fu**ing clue of the products theyre selling or any of your weekly ads. I suggest you make sure if your employees are out on the floor in a certain department that they should know what theyre actually selling.

I brought this macbook pro less than a month ago from our nearest Best Buy. Within 25 days the trackpad started having issue. I am unable to click and it is having very frequently. I called up Best Buy support they transferred the call to Apple support. This is a hardware issue confirmed by Apple support. I am very unsatisfied on this.

This Macbook Pro was a replacement for my 09 model. This current model is really fast and has amazing screen. The only thing that Im not too big on is that fact that everything is pretty much glued down so good luck with swapping out the internals, but its not like you really need to being that this machine is perfect the way it is.

went through and returned a few other computers before settling on this one.if you want save some money or have a lower budget the 13 inch air is awesome. real long battery life.The only reason i returned it and got this one is the retina screen is beautiful. pros and cons of both. Ethier one you pick you will love.buh bye windows.
