This is my first apple laptop. What I like about it is the premium feel and performance to weight ratio. Couple of thing that can be improve is the bezel thickness, wish it was thin as the dell xps 13 bezel. It also can get warm when playing movie which kinda of surprise me. 128 gb of ssd space is not enough for people who plan to use it as their only computer.

Pros - display is georgeous! - force touchpad is innovative! - super fast boot time! - very reponsive! - stylish! Cons - a bit on the pricey side but i gone mine on a very good deal from best buy!

This is my first Macbook ever; it was great. Fast and sleek. Customer service at BestBuy was awesome; they are very helpful. When my mac has a little issue after a week of buying it; they handed me a branch new one without any question.

This item was for my mom. She is very picky. She loved it because it does not heat up. Amazing colors. Easy to use. Beautiful design.

I am somewhat skeptical of reviews, but I honestly wanted to leave my opinion of this product. To put simply, it's amazing. If you own an iPhone, iPad, or other Mac device it only makes sense to stick with Apple! However, I've used iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux distributions, and I must say that iOS and OS X come out on top every time I test or try something else. They're simple and they work all the time. In my opinion, nothing compares to the hardware AND software quality Apple puts into their devices. I've used them for years and they really are worth every penny. I would highly recommend any first time buyer, or hardened veteran in technology to take a look at these products and experience them for yourself! Thumbs up Apple!

The Macbook Pro With Retina Display (latest Model) - 13.3 Display - 8gb Memory - 128gb Flash Storage - Silver is a great laptop! Side by side comparison with the previous model, it is lightning fast - everything opens quickly and the solid hard drive is silent and should hold up better to knocks and bumps. The laptop is very light - I purchased it with upcoming travel in mind and I will not mind having this in my backpack. Beautiful display, works well - everything you could want.

I never owned anything apple until I purchased my mac pro, must say it's the best and fastest pc I have ever own. Very happy with my decision so far.

After returning my 3 day old 2012 macbook pro with a hard drive that "doesn't spin", I am really glad I got this 2015 version with a solid state HDD. No more worries! Lightning fast speed, as well.

Full array of ports on this model - so if you want full HDMI port, full size usb 3 ports, you've got em. No need for dongles. Oh, and SD card slot too is a bonus. And still has the fabulous Magsafe power connection. Those are the reasons I chose this model. Battery life is off the hook, Retina display is gorgeous. Force Feedback touchpad is awesome too. I didn't think the new touchpad would be that big of a deal, but actually, it is awesome.

This is my first macbook purchase and first time using mac in general and I have to say it's pretty underwhelming for the price I paid for it. First off, I want to say I'm not a computer expert, I'm just the average user. That being said, I'm a little disappointed with this laptop because it has low storage 128gb. I mean cmon, 128gb for a laptop that cost $1,300? That is a ridiculously low amount, there are laptops that cost $300 with 500gb storage. Now, the positives of this laptop are it looks and feels nice, boots up quick, makes virtually no noise, and has a very nice retina display. I just wish it had more storage. Another thing is if you are used to using a windows pc, it will take a bit of an adjustment getting used to the interface and keyboard, but that's a given. So all in all, it's a good laptop, but, in my opinion, it isn't worth $1,300.

I wanted the Macbook pro 13 in for over 5 years. My husband got me an Hp laptop 5 years ago for christmas. Even though he knew i wanted the mac, he got the hp because the associate recommended it over the mac. Big mistake!!!!! I never let him live it down! Finally got it this year for Christmas. After 5 years of " I told you so". Fella's, if a lady says she wants something in particular, don't get the complete opposite of what she wants. She wants what se wants for a reason! Love everything about my Macbook Pro!

The MacBook Pro is a great laptop, versatile in size and options and if you don't need to upgrade to the best parts it is actually one of the best laptops for basically everybody. Solid build, reliable and much better than the regular MacBook or Air. The only choice for an Apple laptop in my opinion, (unless you absolutely need a smaller laptop and are willing to sacrifice performance and value with an Air)

I love this laptop. It's compact and fits it my purse. It does what I need to do in terms of school work or video editing.

I am so happy I purchased this laptop. It has given me no problems at all and it is still so fast. I am going on 4 years with it and it still runs just like it did the first time I logged in. Compared to the laptops I had in the past, let's just say I have never looked back.

If this is my first experience with a MacBook all together, but not my first product from apple. Apple is the best product to get in my opinion. It was hard spending this kind of money on a computer. I needed a computer that I knew wouldn't let me down in just a few months. I trust apple to do great things and don't expect it to let me know. I have only had this for 2 days now. And I love it, it runs fast and the screen performance is amazing, the keyboard is so easy, it doesn't lag, it hasn't been where I need to double click a letter or erase because of too much pressure on the keyboard. If I had to give any negative comment I would say the battery. I like to watch a lot of shows on my computer and well it uses a lot of battery. I've went from 100% watch two 45 minutes shows on the internet to 75% battery, it's not a heck of a lot but it can be annoying. But the screen view of the movie/show on the computer without any lag it is worth it. I would recommend this MacBook to anyone. It's easy to transition from PC to Mac, at least I had thought so. Hope my review was useful.

I've been an a MacBook user since 2008 and even though my last MacBook Pro that I bought did not meet my expectations (it messed up within the year and always shut off on its own), this one has been great. It's much lighter than the last MacBook Pro and the retina display definitely makes a difference. I would suggested getting the one with more flash storage if you can afford it.

This is a beautifully crafted machine! Probably makes it very difficult to go back to the Windows PC world!

I have been a Tech for 40 years supporting only windows base computer but decided to research out the apple computer. I am very impress with the operation system and the quality of the hardware on the mac pro. I find myself using the mac more at home the windows base laptops because of the speed of the application and also the internet responses. I know the price is a little high compared to Microsoft windows computers but can see why people prefer apple.
