I purchased this laptop in February 2014. I have had only one issue with Malware but Apple Chat Support fixed it and held me within an hour and I have had no issues since, everything has ran smoothly. If I would have to purchase another laptop, it would definitely be a MacBook again. Be sure to purchase a case for it because the metal can dent or scratch.

New generation processor and battery make it a long using time.

I am a student heading into college and so far this is everything I expected and more. This is my first Mac and I am blown away by the performance. Definitely recommend for any college student looking for a computer.

I did plenty of research prior to making the decision to purchase a mac. Apple has all the hype about their computers so it must be for some reason. I decided to go with this Macbook Pro for the simple reason it was one of the models that didn't have terrible specs for its price, as we all know you are paying a great deal more for apple products than you would anything else, simply for the brand. To keep it short and to the point, yes this is a quality laptop when it comes to its overall finish and fluidity through its programs, but besides that what is there? Windows computers can easily maintain the same specs at a far and i mean far lesser price and you see more and more of them reaching that elegant design that attract most people to the macs. If you have always worked with windows computers and are just looking to try a mac I warn you now to stay away. You will be excited with the un-boxing of a new computer and the mac is different so it will excite you for a day but after that you will miss the windows functions and everything you ever knew about windows computers as the operating systems are just on different ends of the spectrum's. The mac may boast about its simplicity but in all honesty I felt like I was able to perform my everyday tasks a lot "simpler" on my windows computer than the mac, and again I only write this as a person who has always used windows and just wanted to give the mac a try. So if you are the windows user looking to take part in the mac community, you have been warned, thankfully BestBuy has a 15 day return policy which helped me get rid of this and back on the windows side of things.

bought this for the wife. it's the first apple product in our home. she was tired of windows so we gave this a shot. its sufficient for what she needs it for and the screen is beautiful.

I already have owned a MacBook prior to this purchase. The new model is a lot lighter and faster than the 2011 version. Since my purchase in March I have not had any issues. I really enjoy my macbook

I purchased this laptop for my daughter for college and we've been thrilled and impressed with it's performance. Great size and weight and very quick response time when opening apps or windows.

Always have and always will believe that Apple have the top of the line products, and the new macbook pro is one of those standards. Best computer, had an older one finally was able to get a new one, and its only getting better and better.

This is a great laptop which is no surprise to anyone who has had a macbook in the past. The only negative for me would be the battery life is certainly nowhere near what is advertised.

We needed a computer for college. The MacBook Pro 13" was the perfect. It was lightweight, had plenty of memory and retina display-perfect for a engineering /art major and gamer.

I've never owned a MacBook but I do have a lot of other Apple products. Glad I finally decided to purchase one. Display looks amazing and it sure works better than my old Toshiba

This is my first time owning a mac! I have an iPhone and iPad so I when I needed to get a computer I knew I should get an apple product. I chose this because its the newest model and I'm so happy with my decision. I am a college student and this fits all of my needs. I love it!

I was in need of a laptop so I started the journey to reading reviews and ratings. I am an apple person, I have an iphone, ipad and the watch. I knew the macbooks are more expensive then regular laptops but I wasn't sure if it was worth spending that much more. Let me tell you it WAS, I am so in love with this lap top. The easy of setting it up was the easiest thing ever. It synced my phone and ipads right up with no effort on my part. The screen and graphic picture quality is amazing. I would highly recommend spending the extra $ for the Apple - MacBook Pro with Retina display it is worth it!

I was looking to replace my 8-year-old pc laptop, and was originally looking at other pc's. A friend told me I should get a Mac, but I didn't want to spend the money. I kept coming back to this Mac, and eventually it was on sale and I had a promo code, so I took the plunge and bought it. It is absolutely perfect. So slim and it starts up and shuts down so quickly. The keypad is easy to use once you get used to it. The screen is also beautiful. I love everything about it! It is definitely worth the money and I don't regret this purchase at all.
