I love my MacBook Pro. I switched from a MacBook Air to the Pro, Manily for more space. The perfect size, Easy to carry because of the weight. I Love Apple Computers. Very easy to use, and very fast.

The MacBook Pro is a great laptop. It is much faster and more reliable than my old Dell Inspiration laptop. The Retina display is amazing and it is very user friendly. Definitely worth the price.

I went back and forth between the Macbook Pro and the Macbook Air. In particular, I was attracted to lightness of the Air. In the end, I decided I needed the extra speed and capacity of the Pro. Fortunately, the latest Pro without the DVD drive is significantly lighter than the old version. It is quite comfortable to type on, and at 13 in., it is extremely portable. It boots up speedy and has been able to handle everything I've thrown at it so far (mainly PS files and some video). I am extremely pleased with this computer!

This comes from a Guy who only used Windows machines for the last 15 years. I purposely stayed away from the apple echosystem because i thought their products were overpriced and their systems 'too locked down' However after using the computer for a little over a month - I'm beginning to love it. Here are some PROS & CONS from my perspective - PROS - Aesthetics- its a beauty to look at Weight - almost as light as the macbook air ( my brother has the latter) Power/ performance - I'm a designer+developer and my computing needs are on the higher side of spectrum. Unless you are a hardcore gamer, edit too many 4k video, do a LOT of Modelling (specially 3D), this is more than good enough. Retina Display- Unbeatable! CONS- Older CPU ( one full generation behind at the time of writing) Price (but you pay is what you get) One gripe is that the display does not bend beyond a certain angle.

I came from a background of all windows computers. I adapted easily to the MacBook Pro. The reason I chose the pro over the air was simply the need to push some graphic design programs. I didn't want to take the chance they would tax the air. I also plan to travel more and need the laptop so I can work on the road. With that said, this laptop has been one of the best ones I've ever owned. Very easy to use, light (not as light as the air), thin, and a powerhouse. It's what I needed. I don't see me going back to windows computers after this. It's my second Mac.... this is to compliment my iMac.

I bought this laptop for a computer for college this fall and so far I'm very impressed with the speed and ease of use of it. It comes with everything I'll need in college since it is preloaded with Pages, Keynote and Numbers (Apple's version of Microsoft Office). However, I don't plan on using those unless they offer something more than what Google Drive does. If I have any assignments or projects that require some really creative elements I'll pry use Pages, Numbers and Keynote as they have some pretty nice and sleek creative features. I will say when I first got it and thought about the relatively small 128 GB hard drive I was worried but then I realized that since I'll mostly be sticking to Google Drive it shouldn't be an issue. If it does become one however I will be buying a external hard drive which for the massive amounts of storage they offer aren't that expensive. Some even come with software that is built to work with the Time Machine feature on Macs for easy file back up. This laptop also doesn't have a disk drive which really alarmed me but I bought an LG external on for about $30 that works through USB and I barley even use it since most videos and movies and whatnot are becoming more digital and online based day by day. Give it 5-10 years and I bet disks will be totally obsolete anyway. Another great thing about this laptop is it's fast charge time and battery life (apparently by taking out the disk drive Apple was able to increase the battery life greatly) as well as its great looks and beautiful retina display. I would recommend to anyone for anything unless you plan on using tons of DVDs and CDs since carrying around an external disk drive could be inconvenient even though they're quite small, or if you plan on having a lot of files, games, and movies to store on it and are really against external hard drives.

The 2015 MacBook Pro (MBP) is a fantastic device; other than the obvious beauty of Apple's portable computer designs, the MBP is fast, efficient, and sports a display that makes other devices look poor in comparison. To top it all off, the battery life is phenomenal, and I don't feel tethered to a wall outlet every time I take my computer somewhere. Though not quite as power efficient as a MacBook Air, the power and beauty of the MBP more than makes up for that single drawback and makes this one of the most well-rounded high end laptops in the consumer market.

I had a macbook pro before this one but I broke it. I have a bad temper and threw it against my foosball table. It had taken a ton of abuse and worked great. This one is even better though. It is lighter and faster. I really love this laptop and is top of the line. I would highly suggest it. My last one lasted about 8 years I expect the same out of this one.

As college student working two jobs my surface pro just wasn't cutting it anymore. Sure it came with word but that was pretty much the best thing about it. It was complicated to work and I decided it was time for a change. I looked at different laptops online and went into Best Buy looking for a good deal. This laptop is not cheap in ANY way but with a Best Buy credit card it helps build my credit and allows me to pay on it and not have to have all the money up front. The ease of this laptop is beyond what I thought it would be. It is very light weight and the screen display with the retina is amazing. With the apple version of word being pages it is easy for me to take notes or write papers they even have budget graphs to use to help me be conscience of the money I have. Not at all sad about this purchase I recommend it for anyone who is looking it is a wonderful investment.

I have used PCs all of my life and now that I have this MacBook Pro I will never be going back to PC. It is so simple and beautiful to use. It's design is both durable and sleek. It is also SO light! I have had multiple people ask me if it was an Air! I am decently educated in the tech world and I only recommend (without doubt) Mac computers to people I know. This is just the latest and greatest that Apple has produced! It is well worth the investment! If you are a student use your edu account to get $100 bucks off!

This MacBook Pro is my first Mac purchase and it is an excellent investment. I purchased it for use in school and it is very good for that purpose. The aluminum design is elegant and sleek. The laptop is thin and lightweight. The inclusion of an HDMI port and 2 USB 3.0 ports made me buy this over a MacBook Air. The flash-based PCIe storage is very fast and it transfers files very quickly. The battery life is excellent and it charges very quickly. Overall, it is an excellent laptop and well worth buying.

The MacBook Pro Retinas screen is amazing to look at, the battery life can last two days or more if just browsing the web, starts up and logs in in under a minute, apps open super quick thanks to the 8GB of RAM. Has never slowed down once. The only complaint is that there is a very small limited amount of space. If you take a lot of pictures, either buy the model up or buy an external hard drive.

The Macbook Pro 13 inch with Retina Display is a great computer for any college student looking for a sturdy computer that can get the job done. The charge is great for long papers or simply any longer assignment and the computer is light enough to carry around without feeling any stress on your arms later. It's quiet, cool, and the quality of the screen is great. I haven't run into any issues yet, so far I love it! Definitely looking forward to having this computer for a long time.

This computer is awesome! Fast, sleek, light, slim, great resolution. The 13" is perfect size but if i used this computer for work (8+ hours per day) I would suggest getting the 15". This computer is more than what i expected; i am happy and will never buy another PC. Hope this helps someone make a decision. :-)

I originally came in to buy the Air Mac because I need it something long lasting and lightweight, and instead I bought this one, after talking to the employee at Best Buy he explain the difference between the Mac Air and Mac Pro with Retina Display, and this was a better choice for me, and Im glad I bought this one very happy with my purchase it is also lightweight, easy to navigate and compact, just what I was looking for in a laptop. Love my Mac Pro!
