I had a mac computer before this one and i loved it also. i had that one for 10 years and just now upgraded. i tried to get a PC but was miserable and didn't realize how much more i love apple products until i tried to get used to a PC again - bad idea. this computer is awesome though i could not be any happier. perfect!!!

Easy to use laptop with great display and software.

My son had been asking for an Apple MacBook for awhile. I just didn't understand the difference. After I finally broke down and purchased it I could see how different it is from regular laptops. He is a senior in college so I wished I had bought it sooner.

It is small and compact. Great to use when traveling.

I went to best buy to purchase a computer. I get all my electronics there because they have great customer service. I was very pleased with the boy that help me purchase the product. I was not happy that he did not know all the comps i received for purchasing the apple care. I did find out that the young man was new so this is a learning experience but was very surprised in best buy. When I got my computer home I tried to put word on it and had problems. It ended up sending me to a scam site. I had to go back to best buy which the geek squad was very aware of this scam. My questions is why didn't anyone educate the customer about this. I ended up having to get the brand new computer reset to factory setting. I later find out that with the apple care program that I purchased which was not cheep, I was able to have the geek quad get my computer set up. Why want this told to me. So I made 4 extra trips to best buy and I did not have my brand new computer for 2 days due I had to leave it there to get reloaded with factory setting. I guess you would say that was not a good experience for me at best buy

I like the retina and the IOS system. It is so fast.

Purchased this computer to use for my business at the beginning of June and I could not be happier. For a first time MAC user it was not as itimidating as I thought! The features offered are more than I know what to do with, which is a good thing to me! Looking forward to learning how to utilize all this computer has to offer!

Light weight easy to use would recommend this product.

We are a Mac family. My wife did not have her own Mac. I purchased this computer for a Christmas present. It is a smaller version of my larger Macbook Pro. She just loves the size and is enjoying learning how easily Mac software works. She love the soft touch of the keyboard. That was something she has pointed out to me.

I'm a basic internet user FYI - it's light to carry, the image is very clear and bright, fast and easy to get use to if ur use to windows and are transitioning to Apple. Also doesn't scratch easily which I live because I don't take care of my things very well

Kind of regretted spending so much money at first, but its absolutely worth it. The best things for me were the MagSafe charger and the new Apple product smell that lasted with this laptop much longer than with any idevice. One thing that I noticed was that after restoring the laptop, it runs much faster than out-of-the-box.
