This computer is extremely fast. I use it for heavy school use. It is very reliable and lightweight for easy transporting. The interface can learned fairly quickly for someone not usedto applapologists.

Previously had Windows laptops (HP, Toshiba,...) before I upgraded to a mid-2012 MBA 11" and decided to never go back. I then upgraded to this rMBP (bought as an open item, saved $200). Both keyboard and trackpad are great. Retina display is amazing. iOS (Yosemite) is just all-around great also, streamlined with all iDevices. It was a splurge purchase but I find myself using it more and more for/at work now. My gaming rig is one I built myself and is running Windows for obvious reasons but everything else, I'll most likely stick with Apple. So why only 4/5 stars? The price. I'm just happy the salesperson mentioned open items.

I have been an MAC guy my whole life and recently upgraded from a Macbook Air to this Macbook Pro. Apple products are always superior to me right down to the packaging. This PRO is the perfect size for me and my business as a realtor always on the go.

Light weight, high speed, great screen display!!!!

This is my first mac laptop. Always had the top of the line PC laptops. This one puts them to shame! Fast start up with the SSD drive. Easy to use Apps. The MacBook Pro with Retina Display is just as good as 4K! Will never go back with a PC. Johnny L.

Laptop is exactly what I was looking for. Powers up fast and can open numerous applications simultaneously without slowdown.

Not heavy but very fast, nice design and performance

Love the size of the Macbook Pro. Went in to get a Macbook Air and then saw the new thin Macbook Pro, but went with this because I really liked the size, retina screen and that it had USB ports (new MBP does not). Another quality Apple product. Like buying at Best Buy because of the reward points and extra time to return.

I'm a person who hates making big decisions especially when it comes to spending a lot of money on something. When looking for a new computer, I avoided looking at a Mac at first because I heard they are super expensive and you're basically buying the name (even though I have an apple phone and LOVE it.) So I went and bought a HPSpectre 360 (Not exactly any cheaper than a MAC and I previously had an HP for about 6 years and it sadly went down hill), I loved the idea of it and the look but within a week I was having problems so I exchanged it thinking I got a bad one. The same thing happened to the second one so I just returned it and went back to my researching. After much time researching and talking with friends, I gave in and bought a Mac. I LOVE IT!! I can't believe I didn't give in sooner!! I've had no problems with it thus far and I love everything about it. The size is great. The picture is great. I don't hear a fan running constantly. I love that I can connect my phone and computer now. It just makes things a lot simpler! I have no complaints. After all that said, I highly recommend getting a Mac.

Works better then a Windows PC. It's fast and slim

Being a PC user for years, this MacBook Pro help me make the transition easy. I already have iPhones and iPads and iPods so I figured why not a MacBook? Some of the features I was used to on the PC I just had to to find the Apple version of how to do it. So far it's been an easy transition and I really enjoy using it.

I've been looking to get a mac for a while, my old computer had bit the dust and I was needing a personal computer. I bought the computer during one of best buy's 4 hour sale and it was such an incredible deal I had to pounce on it! The computer has been great with no issues and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
