First non windows computer I have purchased. Often run Linux on my older computers but often have plugins or websites that won't work in the Linux environment. Was provided a 6 year old MacBook Pro at work to port an app for iOS and was blown away with how well a computer of that age performed so I bought a new one. Been the perfect blend of allowing me to use Linux commands but also provides a super simple GUI. This laptop is very portable and performs very well.

Never had a macbook before and am very pleased with this. It was a little bit of a learning curve but overall I love it, everything works fast and efficiently.

We were looking for a laptop to upgrade our old desktop and other laptop. We chose an Apple for the first time due to other reviews and speaking with Mac users. Everyone seems to love them! And we are just another one to add - we love our new MacBook. The best part is the retina display - all images, videos, etc. are very clear. Only caveat is learning how to use a Mac - we are used to PCs so this is quite a learning curve.

I always wanted to buy a Mac book. And I didn't regret the price I had to spend. Happy with the purchase and never has lagged. Reviewing after almost a year and a half but still no complaints.

The MacBook Pro is lightweight and easy for my son to carry to high school. Easy to use and has long battery life.

I love this laptop. I originally purchased it for school because it I should a high quality lightweight laptop that I could easily do all of my schoolwork on. It was a huge upgrade from my outdated Sony Vaio laptop that I've had since 2010. This laptop starts up quickly and performs all of its programs at the same pace. It was a little tricky getting used to Mac compared to Windows but you can find anything you need to on Google these days so it wasn't too challenging.

Nice looking LED lights. Thin and light, with all the performance you come to expect with macs.

Love the battery life and the screen pictures .Not really crazy about the Apple programs so far .

Been using a Windows laptop ever since and finally got a great deal and switched to a Mac. Retina display is definitely very clear and having all devices the same brand just makes things work out better overall.

Apple laptop; lightweight, easy to carry, beautiful display, boots very fast, launches apps instantly. Love it.

Was debating between this and the mac air since i'll be using it for travel... thought this would be much heavier than it is; it is very light and has a great resolution as well. Will continue to purchase Mac's

One Word "Amazing". This MacBook Battery life is just insane! compared to other brands ex: Acer, Dell, Toshiba. I have all the apple products you can think off and they synergies with all of them like a charm. Like for example my apple watch can unlock it by just having it on in my hand! Its the little things that i just love it. Design is slick and great quality and the display well it has a Retina display so i'll leave the imagination to you. Overall 10/10.

In general, Macs are the best. The Mac Pro w/Retina Display is internally equipped with the necessary connections making usage so much easier. The size and design is perfect and user friendly. Its speed, efficiency and safety remains superior. Best Buy is my go-to source for all computer technologies; having a large range of products and competitive prices. The Free In-Store Pickup option is so convenient, fast, and the staff is amazing. Love Macs! Love Best Buy!

I've wanted an apple for quite some time now but have always been deterred because of the price tag. I saved up some money recently and finally purchased a base model 13" MacBook Pro. If you can accept that you're overpaying for it, you got yourself a great laptop. Responsive, efficient, and my favorite part is that it plays my video games flawlessly and looks great doing it. Would recommend to other first time apple users.

When you get a Mac, it just works and works well. It is much faster than a Windows based computer and easier to use. The new Retina screen is GREAT. Really good screen resolution, especially good for videos.

Great unit, very powerful work horse. And it should be as heavy as it is. Batt./run time is good
