If you are not familiar with Macs then the system will take some adjustment for those who are Windows users. The display is very clear and the desktop options are very easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. There are great compatible options for software on this Mac. The only issues I have had have been with connectivity to wireless points, but for the most part no severe issues. I love it!

The mac book is easy to use, lightweight with good battery life. The new track pad is a fantastic improvement - have always hated laptops track pads, but Apple's new one is so easy and responsive!

I bought this for school, and i love it.. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was afraid i wouldn't like a mac book since i was a windows user all my life I'm so glad i made the switch!!

I ended up buying this just before the refresh that removed the ports. I figured the rumors ahead of time would be true and I decided my need of the hdmi and sd card slots were more important than having the newer model. I know I could've gotten a hub or alternate cable or something, but I like to travel as light as possible without many things in my bag. This model offered the best compromise between weight and portability for my needs.

I replaced my old MacBook Pro with this one, screen resolution with the retina display is much better and the flash drive makes the computer much faster when starting and when opening anything

I had a gateway laptop for 6 years. I decided to go apple and get the macbook pro. I got the retina display just because it was on sale at the time. Go big or go home! Very happy with my decision.

Although it seems pricey for the specs, when you look at the screen, it does make you in awe. There are many PC lovers that say it's overhyped. Apple is known for having products that just works.

This laptop is being used by a student. The speed of the the processor is extremely fast. The built in features and preinsttalled programs are meeting all needs and more. I am quite satisfied.

I use this MacBook every day for long stretches at a time. I move it from home to work to work site to meetings to ... everywhere without a hitch. This may not be the newest model, but I have never missed the touchpad function keys. And this model does just about everything anyone will need (except, possibly, gamers and film editors). Lots of life still left here even after 30 months.

The laptop is lightweight and portable. The cool thing about it is that it is compatible with iPhones and iTunes and iPads! This will be a great computer for the four years she is at Texas A&M!

Huge performance boost and Force Touchpad is a great new feature Apple introduced. Would definitely recommend buying this Macbook if you dont want to spend much but still want have a Macbook :)

Very happy with this laptop so far. Opted for this one over the previous model because of retina display. I use it heavily for watching movies and cat videos on YouTube. Makes a big difference.
