I was not completely a believer last year when I purchased an ASUS that was nothing but garbage and had nothing but long startup times and pop ups under my curser. My smart wife already purchased a macbook pro a few years ago and has loved it and tried to tell me to get one, but I still decided to save a few hundred dollars for a computer that worked like junk. Now, less than 1 year after purchasing that ASUS, I purchase this beauty and I couldn't be happier. Always works, extremely fast startup time, and has never had a popup under my curser! Love it and will never go PC again.

A great computer for college freshman. It has had no issues and has been nothing but great. This was the first Mac we've had and it was easy to learn and use.

This is one of the best laptops that i ever had. Even more the best is compact 13.3 inches with awesome retina display. Apple you cant go wrong on macbook pro's.

Best piece of equipment ever. I truly love this laptop and it has made my job significantly easier. From downloading files to pure speed, everything is great.

Much to like about this laptop: build quality that is like a tank, accurate and clear retina display, one of the best keyboards and track pads in the business, OS X runs fast and the battery life is great (expect about 10-11 hours unless you are constantly running intensive programs). My only gripe is that for the price Apple is providing an undersized hard drive - a problem across all of their devices in my opinion. Yes, you can supplement the storage space with use of the cloud and an external USB drive, but it would be nice to be able to store more movie projects, photos and music locally.

So I did quite a bit of research on the Macbook Pro before making the purchase. Honestly, it's probably the best laptop I've ever purchased. The first 24 hours was full of learning new ways to do "simple" tasks like I would in Windows (think copy+paste...instead of "cntrl+V", it's "command+v). The display is brilliant and battery life is stellar. I also utilize this laptop for work, and can easily get through a day on a single charge (~10 hours depending on your usage). I would recommend adding on Microsoft Office though - this made the transition much easier. Would recommend 9/10 times.

I have had a MacBook for 10 years it is great and I have never had any problems I bought a new one for my kids and it is equally as amazing highly recommended.

It's the best option for a student because it moves so quickly and I read they last forever. It's a step up from my PC that slowed down significantly in a year.

This MacBook Pro is amazing!! It's super fast, great screen resolution and and super easy to use!!! Love that I'm able to sync all my apple devices to it!!!

I bought this for my grandaughter to use for school. It is a fast and very simple to use computer. She loves it so much. The entire family is always asking her if they can use it when they need to get something done quick and efficiently. She loves the facetime on it too She has used computers in school for a few years and it has become even more proficient with this computer.,

This is the perfect laptop for our high school child. It is just the right size and does exactly what is needed. We could not be happier with this purchase!

I am an engineering student. My only needs for this are Microsoft office, internet, music, and photos. As far as being a student workhorse it is AMAZING! I am a lifelong windows user till this recent purchase, After a few days of getting used to the Mac os it is LEAPS AND BOUNDS ahead of windows as far as user interfacing goes. I have many computer labs at school for software like solidworks, cad, and multisim that are not available on Mac. The ergonomics and looks are an added bonus. You can tell they put a TON of engineering on how this thing just feels, it makes you want to work. I have 128G because i make use of jumps and clouds for storing large amount of files and music. I just pull from a drive or a cloud if i want to create a new photo album or make a new playlist I have no need for a large HD for an extra premium. However now that you can run Mac Os and Windows at the same time on a mac my next purchase will be a Mac desktop with a quad core and at least 1TB of storage so both operating systems will run smoothly, not enough computing power on this model to do that. I eventually want the ease of a Mac interface and also the capability of running great windows software like Solidworks. ALSO IV NEVER IN MY LIFE KNOWN WHAT ITS LIKE TO RUN A COMPUTER WITHOUT VIRUS SOFTWARE WITHOUT ANY ISSUES!! HOW CRAZY IS THAT!

Solid computer, as expected. Super happy I made the switch to mac. I've bought PCs my whole life, but learning how to operate a mac was actually pretty easy.

I was really worried about spending a lot on a laptop, but this one is worth every penny. I am a full time college student and it meets every need! Also the battery last a very long time, and I can go days without charging it. I love that it syncs with my phone and it wasn't hard at all to learn how to use a macbook. The screen is really nice. It's the perfect size laptop.

I purchased this computer to replace my other laptop (not an Apple product) and it was the best decision. So easy to use and makes work stuff ten times easier!

As an IT professional, I've dealt with thousands of different machines and the Macbook Pro is my favorite for many reasons. The user experience is unsurpassed and the design is flawless. Performance is top notch and the native bash shell on the BSD/Mach kernel is a perfect fit for anyone who appreciates an OS designed to maximize efficiency in hardware and software utilization.

The MacBook Pro is a high quality notebook with the power to run large software applications. It does well when I use Tableau and I am still able to run microsoft applications at the same time without experiencing any decrease in performance. Using the MacBook Pro is not intuitive and will require time and effort to master shortcuts and functions. It was unclear to me how to completely uninstall Microsoft suite. Overall I recommend this notebook because it will perform well and can handle different applications being open at once. Please do not let it overheat by sitting it ontop of bed or couch. There is a noticeable difference in temperature and you most likely will cause unreversable damage to you notebook.

Fast responsive reliable. Laptop is a bit pricey but it is worth it. I am a vollege student and this lasts 10 hours at a time which is great. Great purchase!
