I've always been a Windows user, and thought switching to mac would be a difficult transition. Man was I wrong. The Mac OS is simple and easy to navigate.

The Macbook Pro is great for everyday emails, web searching and research but did not handle some heavier programs well. I love the laptop for working with cad models but stalls a little with photoshop. I would probably buy an upgraded version on the next purchase.

This MacBook is light, very light, almost TOO light, so light you definitely want to get a Thule (or some other drop protection). It is quick and responsive.

The best compromise between a slick but weak Ultrabook and a proper but bulky laptop. Reasonable power, amazing battery life, and beauty to last a lifetime.

Upgraded from a 2010 MacBook Pro. Huge difference. Much faster and up to date.

I am new to the Macbook and Macs in general. This laptop is the perfect size at 13", so lightweight and runs flawlessly! I will never go back to Windows/PC!

I purchased this mac book pro to replace my 2014 macbook air 13 inch. It's a great upgrade. Although both are base models, the pro has much better screens, more memory and faster CPU. And the footprint is actually a little bit smaller than the macbook air 13 inch. I don't take it outside the house much often, so the extra weight didn't bother me. So far it's great.

Great computer out of the box. Extremely fast and sleek looking. Only minor issue we are having is the A key sometimes is slow to react and feels as if it's sticking slightly. I'm assuming I could fix this problem on my own if it continues to become more annoying. With the price we paid, you'd think this wouldn't be an issue...

this has been my best computer i ever owned. never had any problems with it. hardly have any issues. best day to day computer for school.

I can't even start to begin on how amazing this computer is! It is so simple to use and links all my apple products in one place so I can share everything.

Long-time Apple user, and this MBP replaced my 2010 pro. The SSD and start-up times are like night and day - start-up is so quick. The display is beautiful, and retina resolution is definitely apparent after using the computer for a few weeks. The biggest selling point for me is the battery life - holy cow and entire working day (8-12 hrs) without needing to charge!

The computer runs great. I am still learning how to use it because I've always used windows. But I am loving the learning process. The only thing is that I wish it had a cd drive. When I bought it I didn't really pay attention to that. But overall satisfied. :)

These computers are for my children who are very tech savvy, they absolutely love them!!! Graphics are wonderful, excellent speed. Couldn't be more pleased.

ave been using MacBook Pros since the 17" models. Previously had the Mid 2014 15" refresh and am glad I upgraded. The new 2015 13" is equivlent, even in the base model to the entry level 15" 2014 model. Everything just seems as quick with the newer CPU, Intel VGA, SSD and logic board chipset. Force pad touchpad works similar to the older pad w/o the loud click sounds when pressed, however, still hinged to simulate a click feel. I've used it mainly for browsing on Chrome & Firefox, notes, spreadsheets, documents, some terminal/console parsing and learning IDE development (compiles and runtime with Eclipse equivalent to my 15"), movie and photo editing. Definitely a noticeable upgrade from the previous model. The Retina display is definitely a must with any laptop, increases the use of 1 screen w/o the need of an external monitor. Of course having a larger native display screen is better but it does come with a weight penalty. If only they would release a MacBook Air with a Retina screen... The only deficiencies on the 13" 2015 model come in the form of hardcore gaming or streaming video, the onboard Nvidia VGA with my 15" 2014 model had less artifacts such as frame drops, judder and blocking or jaggies compared to the Intel VGA. This is expected with the entry level Intel VGAs.
