I'm a photographer and a gamer, having one machine that does both is costly. Easiest solution: two different machines. Only reason why I went for this is because Lightroom and photoshop work seemlessly on this platform. The retina display is relatively color accurate for my needs and makes editing and publishing my photos quite easy.

Very lightweight. Not heavy easy to use. Like it a lot

This was a gift for my wife for Mothers Day. She likes that she can create activities for our children. It easy to use. She can carry it around the house.

While I'm not a Mac fan, this was for my daughter and she was really insistent on one. After saving for half of it we shopped around and found this on sale for $1050 ($250 off). I wanted to get the bigger hard drive and more Ram but only the 15" come with 16gb ram and after doing some research the mac o/s only takes about 20gb total after you remove many of the non-essential apps. She doesn't do video editing so the 95gb of free space should last for several years. The wifi is very good on it compared to other machines and phones we have (as long as you have a good network) and system and app speed are very quick also. Overall a good machine. I would give it 5 stars if the ram was upgradeable easily.

Apple makes an excellent product. It is easy to use and very easy to set up as well. I had a 2009 macbook pro prior to this one and am not disappointed

I love this computer! I previously had a MacBook white. This computer is so much lighter and has lots of upgrades that my old computer didn't. Love it!

After struggling with pc's for a while, I'm glad to have a macbook again. It's so nice to look at, has good specs and a great operating system. Love it!

MacBook Pro is a great laptop and like it a lot. Latest version has lot of improvements and features compared to 2013 which I used to have it before this.

I own many Mac's and recently got this Retina MacBook Pro as I did have the previous model and this was the newer one that just recently came out. Love it.

Wonderfully fast and lightweight computer. If you're looking for something just to play games on this is definitely NOT the laptop for you. Pricey compared to some of it's competitors, but still a great buy.

I have always used windows, because I never could afford a Mac. I now see after going through 4 PC's that I should have bought a mac years ago. It was a little challenging to get used to but with apple care and the help options I learned a lot it is worth going ahead and getting. I was worried that I would need microsoft office but found out that pages opens any word doc. I get from others and that I can also send a pages doc to others as a word or pdf so they can also open the doc that is sent from my mac. It is durable and does not feel like a toy. I love it

The computer is very nice. I like the design and speed.

I love the speed of the processor especially compared to the older one that I replaced. But the special part is the great visual that this computer has.

I wasn't sure about changing from windows to mac, but it definitely was a good decision. Its super fast and doesn't hassles you with updates every week.

Purchased this laptop for my daughter going off to her first year of college. All the capabilities she needs, reliable and easy to use.

I had the previous model and decided to get myself the new MacBook. Definitely a good decision. Mainly used to play The Sims but works well with it.

I knew I wanted an Apple computer since I bought one for my daughter about 4 years for graduation. She had it this long without any problems with it.

MacBook Pro with Retina display offers solid performance amid long battery life. SDD drive minimizes the requirement for excessive and expensive RAM.
