Our first Mac

She really wanted a Mac, because she was tired of the slowness of Windows products. It was very easy to start up and use. She is thrilled with it. We may have to switch over as well.

Good, not great.

While my 2010 was a champ, I really don't see this MBP performing equally as well. I have fan noise and have had quite a few instances where the computer just doesn't handle things as well as my 2010 did. If you're looking for a powerful computer that can do relatively simple things (ie. school work) this is for you. If you are looking for a computer that you can run large, complex programs and games on, I wouldn't suggest it.

Mac verses PC

I was seeing that Windows 10 was just going to be non stop chaos forever after. I jumped ship and went to Mac. Should have done it years ago. The Mac Book Pro is a great laptop.
