I've had Mac laptops and Windows laptops, and this is the one that trumps them all. Lightweight, speedy, and incredible resolution. Only complaint: the power mag is prone to popping out.

I bought this laptop to run my photography business while away from my iMac desktop computer. It has been a great addition. It is very fast plus the screen is big enough to use lightroom and photoshop without any viewing or operational issues.

This is a powerful laptop, in terms of capabilities, but so lightweight and multifunctional. I've had DOS/Micrcosoft based laptops before, but this one simply works... all the time.

This is my first major MAC purchase. Aside from my I-phone and IPad Mini, my IMac laptop transition from my long term PC has been easy and painless. Should have done it years ago. It is lightning fast and lightweight and so much more dynamic.

Bought the Macbook Pro for my wife's birthday. I wanted her to get the feel of the other contenders to make sure she got something she'd actually use (I'm a Linux guy myself so Apple was never on my radar). Anyway, we looked at the Air and the Pro having previously written off the Windows-based products, and the latter had the best look and feel of the two. More expensive but this is a product she might actually use. The keyboard on the Pro has a much better feel than the Air and the screen appears sharper. Other than that, it's about what you'd expect from an Apple product - the sibling relationship with the ihone and iPad is obvious. After getting it home, I decided to let my grandson-Apple-wizard do the setup which he did. Only problem was MY Apple account was a family derivative (or whatever Apple calls it) of my wife's account and when the setup was done, the Macbook was setup as MY notebook, not hers. I called Apple support (very good btw) and apparently the only solution was to re-install the OS, an easy process but requiring an hour's download time. The tech promised to call back and amazingly, actually did, but by that time I had completed the setup myself. It turns out I had to drop myself as part of the family account before I could get the setup process to go thru like I had expected it to. So a word to the wise... After that, no problems at all, OS X has a look/feel similar to my Linux boxes so I'm happy. Connection to my wireless printer was easy but I'm still don't quite understand all the hoopla over Apple products. Yes, well-built, I suppose. But non-consumer-replaceable batteries and a $325 price-tag to replace it will not make me a happy camper in a few years. Battery life seems to be be decent, recharges fast. But $325 for a replacement? C'mon, I replaced my Dell battery for $60! And added memory... The retina screen is very nice but not superior to other high priced laptops. So, IMHO, the pros really don't outweigh the cons (especially the much higher cost and lack of maintainablity) - what you DO get is synergy with your other Apple products, if that's important - it isn't to me, but it is to my end user. Besides as they say, happy wife, happy life...

Super fast, super sleek. This machine can obviously handle anything I ask it to do. And I know it will keep its value, so I can sell it in a few years and use the money on a new one.

This is my second MacBook and this one is even better than the first. I got an out-of-box good deal so the price was greatly reduced. I highly recommend this MacBook Pro with retina display. The colors are sharp, and it's easy to use.

I decided to splurge and try a Mac. I love this computer. Easy to use, sturdy, starts up fast, battery lasts all day. No spam. You don't need to pay for the flash like I did (but I like it), but this is much better than a Windows machine

Checked out the Mac Book Pro 13" and 15" and went with the 13". It has worked great and the screen size is plenty big. Easy to transport, very light, good graphics. Very pleased!

Moving from a Windows PC to MacBook Pro with Retina display. The transition has been easy, OSX is very intuitive, and Apple Care support (free for the first 90 days) has been responsive and helpful. And the retina display is gorgeous.

Bought this to replace an outdated MacBook Pro. The differences are obvious. I don't like being forced by Apple to upgrade but I grudgingly admit it's sort of worth the money.

I've had this laptop for a few months now and it's a great all around laptop to own. I've been a Mac user for over a decade and this is a great upgrade from my previous 17" MBP. Main highlight of the upgrade is the SSD. Loading times are second to none. Super fast compared to any standard hard drive. I'm a videographer and the load time on Final Cut Pro and Premiere is significantly faster versus my 17" non-solid state. Rough numbers: about 5 minutes to load a project versus about 10 seconds on this laptop. Highly recommended. It is pricier than other laptops out there, but I would say it's worth the money, just my two cents.

Fast, light, and has everything I need! As a small business owner, being able to do everything through 1 machine is really important! Love this machine because it's not complicated. NEVER going back to a windows machine.

Absolutely love my Mac Pro. So glad I chose 13" laptop which was a down size from 17" HP. The sharpness of the screen with Retina display plus the ease of compatibility with my iPhone & iPad made this a perfect combination!

Absolutely love! Tried Dell XPS 13.3 which also had a beatiful screen but MacBook Pro out performs and comes with so much usable software right off the bat. I have used Windows for years and now am an OS-X Yosemite converter

This is my first Macbook purchase, I am so pleased that I took the leap. Best laptop hands down. I've avoided Macbook's in the past because of the price (too expensive), but with Best Buy's 18 month finance offer and easy/fast credit approval I was able to purchase my first MacBook Pro 13.3 with Retina display. I Love it!! Easy to use and works beautifully with my iPhone 6. The sales associate was extremely knowledgable and helpful. He made the decision to purchase, on the day that I did, a no brainier.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it!!! And so do I. My wife knows the basic about PC's you know just enough to bother me daily about to do this and that but with this mac and how all her other apple device sync plus the fact I can easily remote in and show her makes it worth the money for me. She can takes notes with her iPad in class and have them on her Mac when she gets home. Not to mention the speed on this thing when your doing something from program to program or just surfing the web
